MEININGER Hotel Vienna Downtown Franz

Creo que es de los pocos Hostales que parecen Hotel, tiene todas las amenidades y el servicio es muy bueno. Y el precio que pagas creo que esta super bien para ser Viena. Tuve un problema con unas chinches y de inmediato me cambiaron a otro cuarto sin costo extra. Lo cual se agradece mucho. También tienen varios elevadores. Lo único malo es que la cocina es muy pequeña y también el refrigerador, creo que eso lo podrían cambiar. Pero fuera de eso, estas muy cerca de todo y puedes llegar caminando a varios lugares como en 20 min. Septiembre 2025

Staff were super nice and friendly, they even let me checked in early after my 12 hr flight. Moment I walked in my room first thing I saw was a bed bug chilling on the bed. Told reception about the issue, they immediately gave me a new bed and had someone clean the one with the bug, but I didn’t feel comfortable and booked somewhere else. When I checked out the receptionist offered to put me in a different room which I declined. Next time provide the best solution at the beginning. I appreciate how nice the staff was but outside of that not much to this place.

There are bedbugs in the hotel, I'm covered in bites. They don't reply to messages saying they will do anything about it.

My experience at meininger started off with getting bitten by bed bugs. After speaking with the desk they closed our room and offered to was our clothes for free and gave us a new room promptly. The new room did not have any bed bugs and I was able to enjoy the rest of my stay minus being itchy and covered in bites. It is not very close to anything and the neighbors complained when we were talking outside at 23:30 so were told to come inside. I did appreciate them trying to make everything right. But would've been happier with a refund.
