Not at all clean, bed bug infestation and stains on sheets. Staff were also very unhelpful

BED BUGS!!!!!! SO dirty. Staff didn’t care that there were bed bugs in the room. Booked to stay for 4 nights, ended up leaving after 1 night. Disgusting.

Bedbugs!!!!!! I found bedbugs in my bed at night, awful experience. I told the staff and they brushed it off. They weren’t helpful about the situation at all. In general the staff weren’t friendly and seemed annoyed most of the time. Also not a social hostel.

The staff were really helpful and friendly. The room however was unacceptable. The toilet was leaking, obvious signs that the leak had tried to be sealed, however it needs to be fixed properly. The plughole was blocked and the shower didn’t drain and as a result, the bathroom smelt terrible. To top it off, my boyfriend woke up with bites on his leg. On further inspection, it was clear that the bed had bed bugs. We are hoping that none made it in to our bags for onward travel! Would not recommend or return to Sabai Sabai.
