Sapa Riverside Ecolodge & Spa

+ Die Gastgeberin war bemüht und freundlich.

- Wir hatten ein rund 15qm "Familienzimmer" gebucht. Wir hatten nicht viel erwartet, aber das hatten wir definitiv nicht erwartet! Als wir ankamen stellte es sich heraus, dass es kein Zimmer war, sondern eher eine Box aus dünnen Holzplatten. Durch die Spalte der Platten konnte man den darunter liegenden Raum sehen. Es war sehr hellhörig. In der Box roch es modrig und die gesamte Bettwäsche war schimmelig. Eine Katze saß auf dem Dach der Box und hat durch die Spalte auf unsere Sachen gepinkelt. Generell war der "Raum" nicht wie auf den Fotos dargestellt. Lieblos und eklig. Der Poolbereich war ungepflegt. Hier haben sich nur Käfer wohl gefühlt. Generell war alles total verstaubt und dreckig. Ungepflegte Anlage. Wir haben dann für eine Nacht den Bungalow bezogen und die restlichen Nächte storniert. Der Bungalow war leider auch nur eine Schadensbegrenzung. Auch hier Schimmel in dem Bettzeug. Die Zimmer sind ihr Geld definitiv nicht wert. Das schönste an der Anlage sind die Fotos im Internet. Wir raten allen von einem Besuch ab!

+ Its a clean place, it looks new. Good rooms.

- Photos on booking is kinda misleading.Your real views are what you see on photos i’ve uploaded. We just booked this place because of the views given place is 5km away from the city centre. Little disappointed with the views but place is not bad. Breakfast is not good enough either.

+ Rooms were spacious and comfortable, and equipped with private bathrooms, which is rare in the area for this price range

- The property is right next to the only road and bridge into the village (which is under construction), at night lorries and construction made it very noisy and very difficult to have a good night’s sleep

- Avevamo da prenotazione una camera familiare tripla ma ci è stata assegnata una doppia. Formiche nelle lenzuola. Bagno maleodorante e malandato con doccia rotta. Non c'è servizio di pulizia camere e non viene rifatto il letto nè cambiati asciugamani. Per la cena abbiamo dovuto aspettare quasi 2 ore dopo aver ordinato un'insalata ed una patatina. Colazione ridicola con pochissima scelta e molto molto scarsa. Evitate servizio lavanderia se non volete che vi ritornino vestiti scoloriti e rovinati.

+ Koselig område, de ansatte var veldig hyggelige og prøvde å kompensere oss for mye trøbbel gjennom natta før.

- Helt forferdelig innsjekking, snakket med personalet mange ganger før innsjekk ettersom vi skulle ankomme sent. De fremstod fleksible og sa at vi kunne sjekke inn når som helst. Da vi ankom kl 01 på natta var det helt mørkt og ingen ansatte tilstedet. Vi forsøkte å ringe på telefon flere ganger uten svar, og når vi til slutt fikk svar ønsket manager å snakke med taxi-sjåføren vår som måtte lete etter nøklene i resepsjonen. Hele opplegget var svært uprofesjonelt.

+ What made the stay here nice were that the staff were extremely kind and friendly, the property itself was beautifully maintained and set in the perfect location (wonderful views and completely serene), and the food served here was great! The property itself, however, was so beautiful that we spent most of our time just lounging around the property to relax and enjoy the breathtaking scenery. FYI: for those unfamiliar with this area, it’s actually Ta Van and not Sapa. We’re glad that we decided to stay in Ta Van as actual Sapa city center was a tourist trap and nothing we wanted to see/be around.

- When we first arrived, we were honestly horrified with the rooms we were given. We had to walk up narrow steps located above the main reception area which were very sketchy to go up. It was hot upstairs and the rooms did not appear to have been used in awhile with all of the beds sitting on the floor. It might have been fine, but there were lots of bugs crawling around and we even had a cockroach run across our bed the first night. We had to share 1 bathroom among 9 people which did not work out well. The staff were nice enough to change out our sheets immediately upon request, but we all did not get much rest the first night. We requested room changes and were placed in the bungalows in the back for additional fees. If you plan to stay here, be sure to pay additional to book the bungalows to start. Each bungalow had its own bathroom which we appreciated and the beds were raised off the ground which was necessary for any type of comfort. The views from the rear bungalows were even better than the common areas of the homestay. We were really looking forward to enjoying the pool with the beautiful surrounding views, especially after having just endured the heat of Hanoi, but were extremely disappointed to learn that the pool would take several days to clean before it’s usable. We would be gone by the time the pool was ready for use.

+ - Un coin au bord du feu pour se retrouver, ce lieu permet de discuter avec les voisins. C'est superbe :) - La gentillesse du personnel - Le concept d'Eco Lodge est vraiment respecté - La nourriture est très bonne (surtout le boeuf au poivre)

- - Manque d'eau chaude - Prix de la location des scooter à 200 000 dongs - Situation géographie : 15 km de Sapa - Pas de chauffage seulement une couette chauffante

+ Nice outdoor setting with view on the Mountain. We could start walking through the valley directly from the homestay.

- Rooms are directly above the reception which also has seating for drinks, diner, and breakfast. The floor is only a small wooden layer which makes it feel like someone is having a conversation with you while you are trying to sleep. Also walls between rooms are wooden. Matrasses are on the floor. Expensive for what you are getting. Also, taxi to the homestay from Sapa is expensive, around 10 euro.

+ Rooms were great and nice and quiet so it’s peaceful!

- It is about 30 minutes outside of the centre so more expensive to catch grabs there and back.

+ Lokatie niet in het drukke Sa Pa maar 30 Min er vandaan. Behulpzame en lieve mensen. Super goeie wandeltour gedaan met La, die ons uit de stroom toeristen wist te krijgen tijdens het wandelen! Leuke restaurantjes in de buurt.

- Ons hotelkamer was minder aantrekkelijk dan de bungalows - daar zou ik absoluut voor gaan de volgende keer.

+ Siamo stati a Sapa per 6 giorni e siamo stati benissimo .La struttura è bellissima abbiamo apprezzato le coperte elettriche e le pompe di calore che al rientro dai trekking rendevano confortevoli le fredde notti a Sapa.Consiglio a tutti di cenare nel loro ristorante.Unico picco neo è che i due cottage dove siamo stati (vicino alla piscina)rimanevano spesso senza energia elettrica con conseguenti piccoli disagi ..il problema è stato poi gentilmente risolto con cambio di stanza

+ I love how secluded and quiet it was. Beds were comfy too.

- The road coming to the homestay was still under construction. Did not expect muddy conditions on the bridge towards the homestay. So if you are travelling on a bike, be wary. The drain in the shower was clogged so water was pooling into the bathroom drain. Which was not ideal and could be dangerous especially for young children. When I got there the first night, the sheets looked like they've not been dusted or cleaned? I found pieces of hair. It was not a huge deal but change of sheets or maybe just dusting would do wonders.

+ Sehr gemütlicher Ort mit einer tollen Atmosphäre. Das Team war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sowohl das Frühstück als auch das Abendessen im zugehörigen Restaurant war sehr lecker.

+ Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was 20 minutes from Sapa but we really enjoyed the quiet local vibe in Ta Van. The textiles for sale are beautiful and locals are lovely people. Scenery was very nice.

- The bathroom could use some updating. There is no separation for shower so water can pool a little. There is no toilet seat was loose but functional.

+ Es war ein toller und toll liebevoller Aufenthalt.Die Gastgeberin war super freundlich und hat uns bei allen geholfen wenn wir was hatten…wir kamen sehr früh mit dem Nachtbus an und sie hat uns herzlich empfangen und wir haben sogar Frühstück bekommen

+ L’emplacement est idéal pour profiter pleinement du calme et de la nature environnante. Situé dans le village de Ta Van, l’hébergement permet d’accéder facilement à pied à plusieurs restaurants ainsi qu’à de magnifiques sentiers de randonnée pour prendre de la hauteur et admirer les paysages. Nous y avons séjourné quatre nuits : les deux premières dans une chambre avec vue, confortable et bien équipée, puis les deux suivantes dans un bungalow qui nous a véritablement enchantés. Les lits sont équipés d’un couvre-matelas chauffant, une attention particulièrement appréciable lors des nuits plus fraîches et humides. S’endormir au son de la rivière et se réveiller face aux rizières est une expérience tout simplement magique. Les chambres sont fonctionnelles et la literie très confortable. Nous avons également pu effectuer un check-in tardif (après 23h) ainsi qu’un check-out très matinal (5h30) sans aucun problème, ce qui est un vrai plus.

- Petit-déjeuner bon dans l’ensemble, malgré quelques options indisponibles les deux premiers jours.

- Wir haben einen Early Check in gebucht. Dieser wurde uns dann am Abend vor der Anreise gestrichen. Als wir in der Unterkunft angekommen sind mussten wir feststellen, dass viele Ameisen in unserem Bett krabbelten. Das Frühstück war akzeptabel. Getränke wurden nicht mehr aufgefüllt, sodass schon um 9 Uhr kein Saft mehr verfügbar war.

+ Personalet var søde. Pæne værelser. Bare ikke i januar måned. Der er for lidt varme . Værelse var køligt.

- Det var januar, så det var koldt at spise morgenmad. Men et besøg når der er sol. Ville være perfekt tænker jeg. OBS. Der er 20 til sapa by i taxa
