- The property is way to far. You have to walk at least 1.5kms to the room from the parking. Staff was rude. They don’t switch on the ac, after hiking from the parking I told them to switch on the ac, firstly rude answer and the guy came and switched it on 27 degree temperature, the washroom are pathetic there is no hot water, water blockage in whole washroom
+ I was staying at this hostel, and while I usually don’t mind pets, this place has multiple cats that constantly jump into my bed several times a day. I first complained to reception, and the staff member simply changed my sheets—no apology, nothing. The next day, I went back, and while he apologized, he made it clear that there was nothing they could do and that I should just keep the doors closed. But this is a 16-bed dorm, so it’s obviously not my responsibility, and on top of that, I’ve seen the cat open the door itself (it’s a sliding door that moves easily). The day after, I asked to speak to the manager, who finally offered a “solution” (changing beds). Wow, took long enough! But after checking, there were no other beds available. So his final answer was: either leave or keep sleeping in dirty, cat hair-covered sheets. Bottom line: a hostel where cats sleep in the beds is just disgusting. Avoid if you care about hygiene.

Didn’t really meet up expectations, dismissive staff, no curtains, lack of atmosphere - not worth the extra money and difficult location

- Je ne comprends pas les avis positifs... à quel moment on parle des centaines d'escaliers qui vous attendent ? Quasi impossible de s'y rendre à pieds tellement c'est pentu et loin du centre ! Ceux qui ont des problèmes de santé quels qu'ils soient, passez votre chemin! Ce n'était pas très propre, j'avais fais une demande spécifique qu'ils ne m'ont pas accordée. Pas de rideaux aux lits, ni de serviette, ni produits de toilettes.
Lots of squandered potential. Awesome location, terribly run. - Doesn’t accept card payment - Everyone in social area is sitting alone on their phone, other than 2 people playing pool every night. - Unbearably hot and humid everywhere. They only turn aircon on at 7pm! Social area has no aircon at all and minimal fans. - Gave me a towel with s*** stains on it. - No curtains on the bunks. - ensuite sink and toilet plumbed without traps - means rooms smells like raw sewerage half the tim...
We didn’t enjoy our stay here: - AC is turned off between 10:00 and 19:00 (so it’s very very hot in the rooms) - the staff wakes you up at 10:00 in the morning because they turn off the AC, go clean the room, open the doors, open the curtains, etc. - it’s a hostel with only stoners - you have to climb 113 stairs every time you leave (so no easy 7-11 visits) - the beds are falling apart - there are sleeping random people (not from the hostel) on the couch in de common room every nigh...
- Terrible location, to get there you almost have to die.
Il est important de préciser aux clients lorsqu’il y a des travaux dans l’etablissement du matin au soir ( 8h. 17h ). Pour les nuits passées, en plus des travaux en journée, il y avait un probleme de plomberie ce qui faisait que toute la nuit à plusieurs reprises comme un bruit de perceuse. En therme d’hygiène c’etait juste limite. Je devais pas 7 nuits j’en ai fait 2 dont 2 que j’ai abandonné (non remboursables) mais j’ai préféré partir.
It is important to clarify to the clients when there is work in the establishment from morning to evening (8h to 17h) For the previous nights, in addition to the work during the day, there was a plumbing problem which caused the whole night repeatedly like a drill noise. In thermal hygiene this was just the limit. I had to do 7 nights 2 of which I abandoned (non-refundable) but I preferred to leave.

Great stay!! Loved the staff and the people, overall super chill vibe. It’s a little out of the way so definitely rent a bike, but the view is amazing and the common area is a great place to hang out and meet people. Would stay again for sure!
everything was so nice especially the view was stunning. very social also. big thanks to staff for keeping the place clean often. they have free yoga class everyday at 5.30 pm, made me feel so nice huge thanks for that also. one thing you should know before booking, you HAVE TO rent a bike as the hostel is located on a hill, super tiring to walk that road especially hostel itself has lots of stairs, fyi.
The people who stay here are great and the staff are super friendly and helpful !!

- I knew about the stairs and it was ok, but it made me max out the time outside and avoid coming back to chill throughout the day. If you're not fit you won't like it.
Amazing hostel! Of course because of the location but mainly because of the staff and all the efforr they make :) every night there are accessible activities to easily meet new people

+ Geweldige locatie, mits je beetje conditie hebt. Elke avond wel wat te doen, of gewoon chill even pilsje happen of pingpongen. Personeel top!!

+ L’emplacement, L’ambiance
- Bcp d’escaliers mais pas de quoi nous décourager
+ Ostello con una vista incredibile. Staff estremamente disponibile, sia lo staff fisso (Chan e gli altri) che i volontari (Tom e Jack) molto gentili. Un ostello con un clima molto rilassato, fuori dal caos della città. Lezioni di yoga gratis tutti i giorni. Cibo molto buono. Area living molto accogliente. Camerate grandi ma silenziose e pulite. Potessi, ci tornerei anche domani.
- Scalini per l’ostello numerosi, serve un po’ di attività fisica e pazienza. Necessario il motorino (ma in generale per spostarsi sull’isola). Docce un po’ freddine, ma ci si fa l’abitudine.

Other than the fact that you have to park your bike so far and climb up at least 100 steep steps to get out of the hostel everything was perfect. I truly wish you can find a solution for this somehow or at least warn people about it.
Clairement l’un des meilleurs hostel où je suis allée ! C’est mieux d’avoir un scooter pour s’y rendre comme il est un peu en retrait mais l’ambiance est génial, la vue est magnifique, le personnel super gentil et les chambres vraiment cool :)
Definitely one of the best hostels I've ever been to! it's better to have a scooter to get there as it's a bit of a retreat but the ambiance is great, the view is magnificent, the super nice staff and the rooms really cool:)
Only stayed one night but the owner was so nice and facilities great! Would definitely recommend. Just be prepared for a 10 min hike to get there.

+ Beautiful spot, awesome common area with everything you need, great staff, great rooms, great view, great restaurant with an equally great view above.
