When we reported this to the manager, we had to take the initiative to disinfect our own clothes. Eventually, we were able to borrow the steamer, which they also used to treat the mattresses. The entire time, the staff refused to admit they had bed bugs. However, their conversation suggested they had an earlier outbreak a few months ago, which also explains the bed bug-protective covers on the mattresses. It really felt like they were trying to downplay the seriousness of the situation, as the multiple bites appearing in rows of three were clearly indicative of bed bugs. Since they only steamed the mattresses, I question whether this is sufficient to eliminate the infestation for the future.
