Rude reception, filthy, hot, wifi never worked. Must be new owners or something because i dont know how this place got 8 stars

whole place is dirty and smells of cigarettes, bed is as hard as a rock and the location is far away from everything.

When we arrived at 9pm we were told there was an error, and that our beds weren't available. We were given a room down the road that we felt was sunstandard and not worth what we had paid, but at least it was a bed. Then when checking in for our 2nd night, only after handing over the money, we were told that only 1of the beds we had booked was available. My partner was offered a mattress on the lobby floor- he refused. A bed was made available but it was covered in bugs that all went in his bag.

Stayed here for one night, as mentioned the beds are firm but we slept okay. The photos absolutely do not represent what the home currently looks like. The bathroom was soaking wet on the floor with full garbages making the toilet space quite tight and dirty. The host was not as friendly as we were expecting, but our interaction with him was limited to check in only as no one was at the desk when we checked out close to 8am the next morning. Do not recommend staying here even if only for a night

There is a very unsettling atmosphere that makes you feel very unwelcome (created by the hosts). You have to pay additionally for your own locker to keep your belongings safe. Rock solid bed, felt like I was sleeping on a row of bricks. One of the hosts (female) asked us to write a review while checking out in a pressuring manner, we did not, but this probably explains why the reviews are so high. Do not stay here!

It was too cold and super loud

Von außen sah das Haus echt gut aus aber von innen war es einfach nur reudig. Besonders die Gemeinschaftsküche und Toilette &Bad haben mich stark abgeschreckt und dazu geführt, dass ich lieber auf die Dusche verzichtet habe. Ich kann mir echt nicht erklären wo die ganzen guten Bewertungen her kommen!? Personal fand ich persönlich sehr unfreundlich und war bei meiner Ankunft eher mit seinem privaten Besuch beschäftigt.

Staff are rude, random people sleeping on the sofas, bad location, room mate was robbed outside, bed smelt of cheese, no lock on room or front door, expensive for the location, pictures dont match the rooms ..... it goes on

The service is really good, the people are nice, it’s safe and it’s clean, the only thing is if you are looking to be near the touristy things it is a little bit far but on my part I loved discovering an other neighborhood

Great place to stay outside of the old quarter. a very relaxed atmosphere. if you are traveling with a motorbike they have on site secure parking for a small daily fee. free if you book for a month. thank you for a chilled relaxed stay. all the best

The bathrooms were not clean most of the time, the AC in the room did not work, the rooms are decent though, I think some maintenance is all this place needs because it is nice.

Outside of the very busy city centre. If you want something quiet this is perfect

Run by a lovely couple with a new born child and a super cute dog. They are friendly, and provide a calm oase in the storm of the city. Would recommend it to anyone who wants to find peace and quiet with a beautiful scenery.

Very nice stay! Lovely woman at the counter that let me check in late at night because I messed up. She (and her husband) were extremely helpful and had a sweet little corgi running around ! The showers etc are very clean and stuff such as hot water and cutlery or dishes are given.

Really nice and calm Hostel

De bedden waren extreem hard, verder waren de wc’s niet erg schoon. We lieten onze was hier doen waarbij werd aangegeven dat het binnen 24u klaar zou zijn, helaas was dit niet het geval en onze was rook ook nog eens naar rook…

Nous avons été accueilli de façon très froide comme si on dérangeait. La responsable été bête et limite désagréable.Elle est rentré dans le dortoir à 22h, elle a ouvert la lumière, elle s’est mis à parler fort à un client et ressorti sans fermer la lumière. Peu de restaurants à proximité. Salle de bain à l’extérieur des dortoirs. Propreté OK. Il faut payer pour plusieurs services (serviettes, pour laisser son sac à l’hostel après le check out, dépôt de 250000 Dong...

It was fine, clean, got the job done. Linen was a little scratchy, bed hard, staff not friendly, but clean and multiple showers per floor which is nice. The building itself is very neat and close to the lake which is pretty. Definitely far from central Hanoi.

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was much quieter than Old Quarter Hanoi where I first stayed when I arrived. I'm too old for that party hostel crap, so it was nice to be away from it. Furthermore, the location was great because it's more authentic, cheaper prices and no tourists, no scams, no ATM fees, and the food pricing is so cheap. There are lots of coffee shops nearby within walking distance, lots of food options (both cheap and more expensive), and other amenities.

Great Hostel outside the city centre of Hanoi. Makes for a great experience away from the regular tourist attractions

Aggressive man living in mixed dorm. Checked in late and when trying to find passport accidentally woke a live in resident. He swore at us and made the atmosphere in the room terrible. Reported to owner who couldn’t move us as it was late which was fair enough. The resident proceeded to then stare at us with his light on in bed until 03:30. I was genuinely quite scared and it made it difficult to sleep. He also shined his phone torch at our beds for rest of night. Very scary.
