City Hotel Carlton

- Réservation pour nouvel an 4 mois en avance pour l’anniversaire de mon fils. Hôtel choisi pour sa proximité des feux d artifice sur la tamise pour voir les feux de la chambre. Total: chambre au sous sol vue sur un mur . Draps maodorants etc … chambre changée le lendemain mais réveillon gâché et prix fort payé . Booking ne me rembourse rien mais veut le faire un bon d achat pour un prochain voyage . A plus de 200 e la nuit c est déplorable

- 2日目、早朝に出発するので、朝食の代わりにランチボックスを用意してくれるように、前日に女性フロントスタッフへ伝えた。 翌朝7時に受け取りの約束だったので、10分前にフロントへ行くと何も用意していない。 男性フロントスタッフはあと10分待て、と良い、7時10分になっても動く様子はない。こちらから声をかけると、あと5分待て、今、自分が作ってくる、と言いキッチンへ向かった。 電車の時間に間に合わないので、当然、待てるわけもなくホテルを出た。 夕方ホテルへ戻ってきてから、別の女性フロントスタッフへ、朝食代金の返金の旨を伝えると、マネージャーへ連絡をして、明日のチェックアウトまでには対応する、と約束した。 翌朝チェックアウトの際、別の男性スタッフは何も聞いていないと言う。 4人のフロントスタッフの連携が取れていなく、たらい回しにされた感じ。 誠意をこめた謝罪と一部返金をしてほしい。

- That was definitely NOT 4 or 3 star HOTEL!!! There wasn’t even a fridge in the room! The room was so small, that we had to roll over the bed to reach the window (by the way the window couldn’t stay open). There was some machine, like air conditioner, while it was working the smell was very unpleasant and the water (from the humidity) was coming out in a TUBE, in the room. There wasn’t even ONE shelf in the thing that was there for a wardrobe. There wasn’t at all enough bathroom accessories for a 4 star hotel! There are more things to say… but honestly I don’t think it’s necessary.

- Koszos volt, egy pinceszerű szobába tettek le minket, nagyon csúnyán beszéltek velünk lekezelő stílus, viselkedés....Olyan volt a bútor, mint ha lomtalanításból szedték volna össze.....

+ I thought it is like best western in USA with air con but it was hot and no cold water to use only warm water. I was sleeping and I sweat so much but no cold water to refresh me when I showerI asked them to provide another fan and they did but no cold water . We cannot sleep. I am looking for another place to stay.

- No cold water to shower. our bed is wet too. you cannot open the window to let air come in. It opens one third not all the way maybe for safety reasons but NO COLD WATER to shower? I booked my sister and my friend June 30 to July 4, It cost $1200 plus US dollars. the least they can do is give your renters cold water to shower. HORRIBLE place to stay.

+ Além do quarto ser minúsculo, éramos 3 pessoas um casal com menina de 11 anos , mal nos mexíamos !! dormimos numa cama com edredão com uma mancha de urina / sémen ! Só reparei de manhã !!! Reclamei na receção na manhã seguinte e a resposta - por norma mudamos as camas no check out 🥹🫣 um nojoooo! Não recomendo mesmo!!! —————— Besides the room being tiny, we were 3 of us, a couple with an 11 year old girl, we could barely move!! We slept in a bed with a duvet with a urine/semen stain! I only noticed it in the morning!!! I complained at reception the next morning and the response - normaly !!!!we change the beds at check out 🥹🫣 disgusting! I really do not recommend it!!!

- Not entirely step free to property. Lacklustre breakfast, not a lot of options for cooked breakfast, no choice on how toast was made. Extremely cramped room, no working TV

- I did not have cold water in my room so I had to take a shower with really hot water. I woke up with bed bug bites and had to take another super hot water shower.

+ The room was spotlessly clean and the bed comfortable. Bathroom also clean, and the shower was good, also the toiletries supplied. The location in Pimlico is pleasant, with quiet streets. Quite a few cafes and restaurants within easy walking distance. We would recommend the "Pimlico Grid" for breakfast (we didn't have breakfast at the hotel).

+ Punto strategico per girare Londra sia a piedi che con i mezzi. Ottima la zona ben frequentata anche di notte.

- La moquette sul pavimento e il bagno che è davvero piccolissimo, per lavarsi i denti, nel minuscolo lavandino posizionato in un angolo, bisogna mettersi di traverso con un piede nella doccia. A parte la scontata mancanza del bidet lamento la mancanza dello scopino per il water.

+ Tutto, è la quarta volta che soggiorniamo qui, è una garanzia

+ This hotel is in a fantastic spot, close to everything you need, including Pimlico Underground and Victoria Station. There are also plenty of nearby restaurants offering high-quality food. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful—they even let us store our luggage since our room wasn't ready when we arrived. Plus, having a lift was a huge help with our heavy bags.

- Room Size & Layout: Far too small for three people. The layout was so poor that the bathroom door hit the bed every time we tried to open it. - Lack of Facilities: There was nowhere to hang three towels except for one small hook on the door. - Maintenance Issues: The built-in USB ports were broken, and the hairdryer worked only intermittently. - Noise: Very poor soundproofing. Despite being on the 3rd floor, the thin windows let in all the street noise. - Overall: This definitely does not meet the standards of a 3-star hotel.

- My room was at the front of the building so was a little noisy at times and also right next to the reception corridor so I could hear other people passing through with cases etc
