Paramount Hotel

I stayed in Room 1 over two weeks ago and unfortunately, my experience left a lot to be desired. From the moment I arrived, it was clear that the hotel did not live up to its online presentation. The photos used in the listing appear to show only one (likely their best) room, which did not reflect the reality of mine. We were given a basement room which was awkwardly shaped so it would have been nice to receive one of the more spacious double rooms.

Overrated and overpriced basic accommodation

We were given tiny dark room in the basement, not what was shown online. Shower didn’t drain properly and water pointed at screen so couldn’t shower properly. Room and bathroom were clean, however you can probably get better value for money

Great location and friendly staff. Room was so small I could barely open my suitcase. Shower was so small I could stand under the water stream to had to splash myself. There was a fan which was appreciated in the London heat. Great location and suitable if you are out all day and spending minimal time in the room. Bed was not super comfortable and pillows were flat.

Nous avions réservée une chambre de Qualité supérieure. Nous nous sommes retrouvées avec un tout petit lit, dans une toute petite chambre avec difficulté s’ouvrir la fenêtre. La chambre était si petite qu’elle en était un peu opressante.

Very clean private room, no social life , close to subway, lots of restaurants nearby, not the cheapest but you have your own room and on suite, if your looking to meet people traveling like yourself, there is none here, your on your own, like a regular hotel, I would definitely stay again if I am not alone otherwise have to look for another place.

Our "Superior Double Bed Private Ensuite" ended up being a tiny basement room, with scaffolding in front of the only window; shower was likely partly clogged. Not our understanding of "Superior". But it's a nice basic Hotel in a great neighbourhood.

Good place for a night or two. Nothing special but very close to the underground station

Very clean private room, no social life , close to subway, lots of restaurants nearby, not the cheapest but you have your own room and on suite, if your looking to meet people traveling like yourself, there is none here, your on your own, like a regular hotel, I would definitely stay again if I am not alone otherwise have to look for another place.
