Tony's House Hotel

This was by far the worst, most disgusting place I've stayed in my travels. The silverware in the room were still filthy from the previous guest, the maid only lays a top sheet on the yellow-stained mattress so it slips away as you sleep, the shower is under a staircase and its ceiling is covered in what seems to be black mold, the maid forgot to put a pillowcase on my pillow, breakfast is laughable and includes a hamburger bun for a roll, and reception barely spoke English. Location is good.

Note, they have hotel guests and hostel guests. I had the private/ shared bathroom reservation. I am satisfied with the room having limited room to move in ( walking sideways to reach no space to Kay open suitcase- but………the rat, and extreme filth was a health hazard. There was tissue matter of something else dead in room as well. Walked me to another property because they oversold

Reservé una habitación single con baño compartido. La habitación resultó ser muy similar a una celda de cárcel. Todo precario, humedades en las paredes y techo (del que colgaba un bombillo), muy sucio, mal terminado. La ventana tenía suciedad de hace unos 50 años atrás. When I got to the hotel, they told me I would have to switch rooms for my second night which was fine except for having to carry my large suitcase up and down multiple flights of steep stairs. When I went to get my new room for the second night, they told me they didn't have one available anymore and could put me in a room down the street. I wasn't told the name of the hotel and was walked down a few blocks in the dark in silence. This was a poor experience and felt unsafe

Hade bokat 2 enkel sängar men fick en dubbelsäng. Bilderna ge falsk marknadsföring helt klart. Frukosten var det ända vi tyckte var super. Väldigt lyhört och man både hörde och kände av vibrationer från tunnelbanan. Så hit blir det inte flera gånger.

There was a rat! Every employee was very nice and nothing about that was the problem. On my last night there a rat came out of the corner. Not clean at all. Everything was great until I saw the rat. So never going back there again. For £55 a night not worth it.

Great location and the staff were lovely. Bathrooms were pretty rundown and not very clean. Bed was uncomfortable and my room had no decoration, so not a great atmosphere. Breakfast was a juice box and pre-packaged pastries (British/European equivalent to a juice box and twinkies/ho hos). Wouldn't recommend, but doable if you're really in a tight spot.

I booked a single room. When I got into it you needed to play Tetris every time you wanted to move around or even leave. The sink was coming away from the wall so the hot tap didn’t even work, there were damp patches on the upper walls and ceiling, the plaster in the ceiling was cracked, the aerial cord for the tv was degrading so there were exposed wires. In addition to this there was no effort made to make the room welcoming at all. The table that held the tv and kettle was an outdoors patio...

Il faisait très froid dans la chambre pas du tout isolé j’avais l’impression de dormir dehors. J’ai mal dormi

L'isolation est très mauvaise, espace très important autour de la fenêtre qui laisse passer l'air. Le métro passe en dessous, donc c'est bruyant. Serviettes de bain changées quotidiennement heureusement car la Sdb reste humide, Petits déjeunés industriels très forts en gluten, boissons industrielles et beaucoup de déchets, ni fruits, ni jus de fruit. Personnel agréable

Solid single night stay. Staff were efficient enough and friendly, is a great location like 2 min walk from Paddington station. The communal toilet was always clean, didn't see showers. The room is rundown yes, exposed pipes, crumbling wall, but bedding and sink was clean, and for the price in central London it does the job.

Proximity to Paddington station, shops and restaurants is great. There’s a grassy area and benches across the street. They bring a basket of continental breakfast items to your room. Be prepared to carry your bags up one or more flights of stairs. My private room was super small. Light came from a window and a single bulb on the ceiling. The shared toilet was clean, although that will depend upon who you’re sharing it with. The shower was super small and less clean than the toilet.

They were helpful, kind and friendly. The room was clean, clear and comfortable. The breakfast was delicious and thoughtful. I loved being there.

Really good place if you just need somewhere to stay for a night that is centrally located. The fact you have your own room I found really great, and although the rooms are definitely small, the room was clean. Also just so we’ll location to Paddington. Was a little loud with other patrons and the trains, but for a night or two was perfectly fine.

Good reception and very helpful

It’s was super clean, cozy and they offer a small of basket or breakfast every morning.

For the money you pay a really good deal!
