Cc card not accepted, staff very rude and 0 hospitality skills. Overall stay elsewhere so many more better options in Antigua. Avoid this one.

I would have left the hotel 4 stars for the cleanliness and price, but I booked a tour of the towns surrounding La Antigua through them (500 Quetzales ) and it was literally the worst tour I have ever received. My driver stopped at each town's church and only said you can take a picture of the church and that was all the information that was given to me, nothing else.And it was not because of a language barrier since I am fluent in Spanish. It was a waste of my time and money, basically not wort...

Good nice hostel, staff weren’t too helpful. Kitchen was ok to use, bathroom was clean. Although our bathroom door handle broke which caused issues. Good location and comfy beds.

Very quite, you were not allowed to talk or be in the shared spaces after 10pm so a girl had to leave the hotel in order to make a phonecall since people were already trying to sleep in the dorm.

Chill hostel to stay at for a couple of nights, wouldn't recommend for any longer as there is no atmosphere. Very small hostel in general, although had a decent kitchen. Bathrooms were inside dorm rooms which wasn't ideal as it wasn't private but were clean. Overall would stay again

A no frills hostel in the centre of Antigua. Facilities were pretty basic. Beds were pretty uncomfortable due to very thin mattresses

Immaculately clean Hostal (more like a hotel). Lovely little courtyard to sit in. And access to a basic little kitchen area. If possible ask for an upstairs room. We were downstairs next to reception so it was a bit noisy with people coming and going but they did tell us this at the time of booking

My partner and I really enjoyed our stay at Posada Dona Luisa. In particular, the staff went above and beyond to support our arrival to Antigua and supported us even after we checked out by storing our luggage whilst we tackled the Fuego volcano hike, and allowing us to shower upon our return. One of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.

It was a great hotel. Unfortunately the electric didn't always work but the staff were very receptive when I reported it to them. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I loved my stay at Posada Doña Luisa! I booked at the last minute due to a change of plans in my trip, and am extremely glad I did so. I had one of the most comfortable sleeps that I have had in a hostel, the kitchen was well set up, everything was clean, and I enjoyed the free coffee in the mornings. Very lovely outdoor space perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring! Highly recommend.

Good stay

Such a lovely and charming place. The staff are super helpful and friendly. We had an issue with a guest bringing bugs into our dorm room, but the staff took care of it immediately. The kitchen has everything you need to cook, which is rare in surrounding hostels. The Wi-Fi is pretty good for remote work, which is great. Not super social but you can go out and go to other hostels for events. Highly recommend!

Had a great stay, can only recommend, the kitchen super cute and i loved cooking there. not a lot of other travellers but everyone is really nice and it’s super chill!

Great place and friendly

One of the most comfortable beds/pillows I’ve found in Guatemala so far. Really nice staff, free towel and soap, decent kitchen, nice courtyard area. Not much of a social vibe but that was ok with me as I was there to do the volcano hike. There was a mix up with my airport shuttle and one of the staff members found me in the square at the meeting point and waited with me while they arranged another transfer. Really appreciated that!

Super hostel, tranquille, avec une belle vue. Recommande fortement! Personnel serviable et chaleureux. Le seul petit défaut c’est que l’eau de la douche n’est jamais chaude…

Great place to stay. Has a kitchen with everything you need to prepare a meal. Warm showers. Beds with curtains.

A really pretty and peaceful spot close to the main square! The staff are super kind and helpful and the building is kept extremely clean. It's not a social spot but the value is great and it's a gorgeous communal space

My biggest strife with Posada was booking an airport pickup through them. They charge $50 and do not give you the driver contact details and do not answer the phone number provided at night. I was waiting for 45 minutes for the driver and as I was about to get in an uber I see them. I asked for a discount since I had to pay more than an uber and they were late and they refused and took no accountability. Other than that I liked the security of the place.

Really nice place to stay, rooms a bit basic but it had everything we needed. The highlight were the staff, they were the most helpful and went out of their way to help with everything. Allowing us to change our dates and helping us book all our transport and tours.
