Nomad Hostel Karakoy

The room was extremely dusty and didnt get cleaned even if I asked to, the sheets were clean but bathrooms were not. there is no reception or staff members. Someone who came to open the door for me when I arrived who I assume was the manager was NOT FRIENDLY at all. It is hard to reach the bathrooms from female dorm since the stairs are steep and narrrow and no elevator. Central location but doesnt feel safe at night. I left earlier than my check out day.

The space is very small there wasn’t even a space for our luggage, and the power went off for a whole day it was very hot at night. Very noisy area but I didn’t mind it. Not worth the money though.

No common areas and people sleeping there was strange. There is no reception and rooms are very small

Ich war enttäuscht vom Hostel. Sehr kleine/enge Zimmer, keine Küchenutensilien, nur eine Toilette für alle Gäste, kein Personal im Haus und es ist sehr laut, da im Gebäude ein Club ist. Wollte 4 Nächte bleiben, bin nach einer Nacht wieder gegangen. Ich empfehle das Hostel nicht weiter.

Si quieres descansar o dormir este no es el lugar! Todas la noches hay un bar con musica en vivo hasta las 1:30 am,si no las bocinas de barcos y cruceros del puerto justo en frente.el lugar está ubicado en un área con mucha vida ,restaurants ,cafés etc. Es una hostal limpia y funcional pero si quieres sentarte con tu computador o con tu celular ni lo pienses no tiene área común. Sólo tiene un baño para los 3 pisos y si te toca la última habitación de arriba como a mi ,suerte!

Nice staff but no kitchen or communal space. Bathroom was four floors distance from the room. Extremely loud and noisy during the night from the street and window was not able to be closed

I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I couldn’t. The mattress was so hard it made my entire body sore and there was no hot water when I wanted to shower. The wifi was slow and sometimes not working at all. The check in process was difficult because there is no reception. I didn’t have a SIM card so I didn’t have internet to text the number on the door on WhatsApp to ask for check in, somebody helped me. Location was absolutely perfect. The hostel is just slightly inconvenient because there’s so many stairs to go anywhere. No social vibe. And the AC was not working

The hostel was ok, nothing bad but nothing special. The owner responded punctually to my requests via WhatsApp. Don't expect anything more than basic: kitchen facilities in the building are only a kettle and a microwave but no tea/coffee and no cups (or maybe they were in the locked cupboard). Also no space to hang out outside the room (I didn't visit the separate lounge during my stay, that was short). Again, nothing too bad but nothing special either

Great place in a great location, takes about 5-10 minutes to get from Kadikoy ferry station. Easy to find, there’s a sign that is visible

Der Hostelinhaber ist super freundlich und reagiert schnell auf Nachrichten und hat mich vor Anreise mit allen Informationen für den Check-In versorgt. Das Frauen Mehrbettzimmer war sauber und mit Lockern inkl. Schlüssel fürs Schloss ausgestattet. Die Betten hatten Vorhänge und Steckdosen. Unsafe, no security on outside door, anyone could push it open from the street. Location excellent. No staff present, no reception.

Email with PIN Codes was Not understandable. It was a little problems at first time. I didn’t see the codes.

Sehr sauber und zentral gelegen. Mann kan alles sehr gut erreichen mit allen Transportmitteln in jede Richtung.

very nice hoste on a perfect location in Istanbul. there are doors with codelocks and there is not reception. cleaning is done sometimes throughout the day. be early to shower! otherwise you have lukewarm water. I would recommend this place!

The location of the hostel is great, but that is the only good quality of it. There is no staff, it’s self checkin and we haven’t seen anyone in 5 days. Not even cleaners. The sheets were dirty and around the beds they did not clean at all. If you’re there in the weekends you won’t be able to sleep because of the noise from the bars, even if you have earplugs. Bathroom (only 1 toilet for women which was dirty today) is in the 1st floor, and there are 5 floors.

Superbe hôtel proche de la Tour Galata ! Rien à dire c’était top ..

I booked for 4 beds in female only dorm. We were in two different rooms. One was female only but the other was not. I messaged the person in charge to notify them and ask why this was. No reply, up until this point they had been super responsive and quick at responding too. An hour later I received a notification that my booking had been cancelled but the full payment had been taken. This has left a bad taste in my mouth as a simple apology or a heads up before checking in would have been enough

This hostel is in a good area in Kadakoy, it is a central to a lot of bars and restaurant on a busy street. It can be noisy at night if you don't have earplugs. The wifi was extremely weak and inconsistent. I had to do some work during the day so I spent most of the time at the Sub Hotel a couple blocks away (their communal area). It would of been nice if the dorm beds had a personal light, we just had to use the room ceiling light and the bathrooms only had 1 sink each.

Cant recommend this hostel enough. Great location with great atmosphere. Easy and close to all public transportation. Therea a ferry terminal only 3-5 min away. Beds were comfy and had overhead shelf and curtains. Free lockers with key. Clean showers and bathroom. The host is very friendly and easy to communicate with and alao very helpful!

I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. During my stay, I noticed there were no fire alarms or emergency exits, which is a serious safety concern. Until these issues are addressed, I cannot recommend this hotel

The location is fantastic, especially at that price. In walking distance of a bunch of the major sites. It is a bit noisy at night but it is definitely not the loudest place I have stayed at.
