Terrible hostel, rude staff, rooms are hot and stuffy and don't have flyscreens on the windows, something was biting me I think it was bedbugs. They charged me for a tour that I didn't go on.

Pros: Well located, very social, budget-friendly. Cons: Woke up with bed bug bites (Dorm 112, bed C), extremely warm dorms at night with no air circulation, ceiling fans would be great. Inconsistent shower temperature, goes extremely cold and you must leave it off for about minute to get warm water again. Met some cool people, would never stay again.

PUNAISES DE LIT !! ATTENTION !!! JE NE RECOMMANDE PAS DU TOUT ! A ÉVITER !

Overall it is clean and well organized. The food options and bar inside were good for the price and convenience. The staff were very fun and welcoming with a lot really trying to be apart of the groups, there were also tons of organized activities hosted by the staff which were really fun, like the Lucha Libre. It’s easy to meet people and form groups to do activities with. The beds were also more comfortable than I originally expected. The facilities are all clean and very well maintained, beds clean, no reports or sight of bed bugs during my visit. There are also some cool in building areas like a ping pong table, a meditation room, and an area to play table games. Honestly the main highlights were the staff and the people. Everyone was just so wonderful, the staff really felt like they wanted to be a part of the fun with the groups which made for a more welcoming environment. Instead of just workers they also felt like one of the other travelers there. This hostel is also very good if you want a more party oriented environment as every night some kind of group was going clubbing or to the bars, and even the bar inside the hostel was also pretty active daily, and the bartenders were all extremely nice. It's a explore during the day, party hard at night kind of vibe. All things considered, this is a wonderful place to stay, especially for first timers who haven't been to a hostel. The Wifi is very iffy more often than not. You'll have to reconnect to it every 5-10 minutes or so, and sometimes the wifi isn't all that fast, but for the most part it was serviceable. While the showers were hot and clean, they would frequently alternate between warm to scorching hot without you touching the handle so you have to turn the shower off and then turn it back on to reset to your preferred temperature. The location is also a double edged sword, it's right next to Zocalo which already has TONS of fun stuff to do and lots of shops, markets, and food options. However if you want to do any normal touristy things or go to clubs in Roma or Condesa your best bet is a 20+ minute Uber or the metro, unless you are okay with longer walks. Finally, while very minute and arguably insignificant in the overall experience, if you get a top bunk do expect to have the first step of the ladder being higher than you'd expect off the floor.

It’s very central and the back yard is beautiful I got bed bugs in my room! I told it to the guy at the reception and he acted completely unbothered like “ah yeah, looks like bed bugs”. Everyone who ever had them might now how extremely uncomfortable it is. Stitches all over my body. I slept in a single room and it felt quite simple (with shared bath, that’s not super clean) for 60$.

Nice interior, good location, easy to meet new people. No air circulation or ventilation in rooms, extremely hot at night, unreliable shower temperature, woke up with bed bug bites one night (room 112, bed C), homeless guy near the entrance every night selling drugs.
Análise do ambiente
