The place gave me bed bugs. Not much else to say about it

BEWARE BED BUGS!! I don’t really write reviews but I think this is something to watch out for if you’re staying here. I stayed here for 4 nights and half were spent in agony because of the pain I felt from the MULTIPLE bug bites I received. For context, I’ve never seen bed bugs or had them so I clearly didn’t know what to look for but I saw specs of black dots in the sheets that I ignored because I thought they came from my socks but I wish I hadn’t because it turned out to be bed bug excrement. I went down to tell and show them my bites and asked if they can look into it because I wasn’t sure myself what this was, maybe they were really bad mosquito bites, but they brushed it off and never looked into it. Long story short I ended up in the hospital because of how many bites there were and how faint I was, they confirmed it was bed bugs and a very bad infestation. I also spent a lot of time inside the hostel because of my pain so I saw them come in a few times throughout my stay to clean and change sheets… they clean the floors and bathroom nicely but the beds… they only take the sheets off and put new ones on. No real cleaning is done here just a strip and replace. *they won’t allow me to post photos but please check your beds Location was decent.

My first impression of this hostel was very good: friendly people, well-designed rooms (comfortable beds, good room layout, curtains, etc.), and clean spaces. But then we found a bedbug in our room. At first, we did nothing except take a picture because we weren’t sure but then bite marks appeared on my hand, and we became certain. The staff was not very helpful in that situation. My bed had bed bugs and when I told them they should look into this because I’ve never seen bed bugs before or had them so I was a little hesitant that’s what these bites were but I ended up in the hospital and they never looked further into it. I DO NOT RECOMMEND! Or at least beware and check the beds first.
