Very un understanding. Put it this way, I wouldn't recommend them to my ex...and that's saying something because my ex is a filthy fkn pedafile... Gold diggin b!π€h..!

Mostly good actually, just leaving a bad review because of the 5 year old manager who had me leave the hostel after checkout because I was staying in my friends room for a couple of hours till my flight leaves I understand not wanting me to stay in the rooms but she immediately lost her temper and acted like a five year old who lost her baby doll and would let met talk to her dont know how you make it this far in life being this immature.. well

Worst hostel I have ever been. Kitchen close 12am to 7am are you serious??? I can't drink a coffee before go to work or drink water at night. The smallest kitchen I've seen in a hostel, 0 vibe, the staff was so rude, a lot of stupid rules, there's no sofa in the whole hostel, so uncomfortable. It is very expensive for what they offer. I definitely won't be coming back again.There's a lot of hostel in the same street, better stay in another one.

Horrible youth hostel. Behind their fake smiles, the two team leaders are just waiting for you to leave. The two team leaders are horrible people and will not hesitate to throw you out on the street if you do anything that doesn't suit them. They are also extremely vulgar and rude to their colleagues. All the other hostels on the street are much better in every way. Don't give them your money; you'll only get ingratitude in return.

I was kicked out of my room without any prior warning even though I regularly extended my stay. The manager left a message at reception saying I was not allowed to extend, even though I hadn’t done anything wrong. So I wanted to talk to her. I had to work early the next morning, and when I returned after work, all of my belongings had been thrown out of the room. Not the first time guests were treated this way. Completely unprofessional and disrespectful. I cannot recommend this hostel to anyo...

I booked a room at this hostel and had to leave the same night due to a very strong, unpleasant smell in the dorm. It was impossible to sleep in those conditions, and the room was clearly not fit for use. I reported the issue to reception immediately. They only offered me an “upgrade” to a different room if I paid an additional $27 — not a real solution. Because of that, I left and didn’t use the room at all. I have requested a full refund, but the hostel refused and only offered a...

Très mauvais rapport qualité/prix. Nous avons dû payer un supplément de 80$ pour nos bagages.. la cuisine est extrêmement petite, seulement deux personnes peuvent utiliser les plaques de cuisson en même temps. Au delà de ça, l’ambiance n’y est pas et le personnel n’est pas très sympathique. Passez votre chemin !

Ich hatte einen Tag vorher Magendarm und trotz hohem ansteckungsrisiko , wurde mir mitgeteilt, dass eine Stornierung nicht möglich ist und ich war somit gezwungen da trotzdem zu schlafen. Nach Diskussion mit der Managerin am Tag danach wurde mir dann Iwann mitgeteilt, dass man mir ja einen Gutschein ausstellen könnte, falls ich in ein Hotel gehen würde. Küche unzumutbar klein. Und ich wurde in ein Dorm mit 9 Männern gesteckt. Beim liegen auf der Matratze hab jede einzelne Metallfeder gespü...

Great location, slept really well and late check-in was easily accommodated.

WiFi was a bit temperamental and I wish there was a light next to your bed. Kitchen and communal areas were good. Rooftop is really cool. Beds are comfy and rooms have enough space in.

The room had a really disgusting smell…

Good location, super close to trains, buses and supermarket. It felt really clean and I liked the curtain round the bed for some privacy. Would have maybe benefitted from more toilets as they were down the corridor from the room but overall a great stay!

Outstanding facilities, Emma the manager was outstanding. The cleaner in the morning talks loads and has a run club, which has inspired me to change my goals and take up running. I would stay here ten times over and more.

Alles gaat om 22:00 dicht. Liepen kakkerlakken rond in de hostel. Veel geluid. Geen lekkere plek om rustig en chill te zitten.

Durchschnittlich.

Hostel rooms are well equipped with curtains and lockers. I didn’t find it that social but may be because I got changed to a smaller size room and the people in my room changed every day. Nice enough stay but not my favourite hostel in Australia or of the Summer house brand.

The kindest staff with lovable people everywhere

The hostel is Clean, friendly and very sociable. The staff are lovely shout out to Kevin and Emma, they’re always great to talk and super nice. 10/10 would recommend!

I stayed in a female only room with an ensuite and it was great value! The only downsides were the small kitchen (didn't really use) and tight rooms for storing your stuff.

Good place to stay. Lots of people, but hard to meet since many people stay for longer times.

Easy check in, staff at front desk was friendly. Was only at hostel for one night but will say that the female dorm felt cramped. Not much room on the floor if someone else was packing.

I stayed at this hostel for just one night. The rooms are very small and the beds are not very comfortable. There isn’t much of an atmosphere at the hostel, and the neighborhood where it’s located didn’t feel very safe in the evening for a woman traveling alone. I wouldn’t stay at this hostel again if I return to Brisbane.

Really lovely hostel, very clean, very sociable and just an overall really good vibe. It was so good I decided to stay long term. Good events! And good rooftop view too!!

I had an amazing stay at Summer House Brisbane! From the moment I arrived, the staff were incredibly welcoming, friendly, and always happy to help with recommendations and anything I needed. The atmosphere is social and vibrant, making it super easy to meet other travelers, but still relaxed enough to unwind. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the facilities were excellent. I especially loved the rooftop area! Definitely coming back!

Cuisine assez petite .

I absolutely loved staying here for multiple times already. Everything is always clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. The events are nice aswell and it’s easy to meet and connect with people. Also you have the best view from the rooftop over the river and the city.
