Hostal Bellavista Puerto Natales

One of the dirtiest places I’ve been to.

The bedroom was very cold. The heater in the hallway was on but this didn't transfer into the bedroom and we could feel the wind coming through the closed window (the curtains were moving with the draft coming through). Breakfast is put out at 9pm the night before but the kitchen is so cold it's pretty much at fridge temperature if not colder overnight. Don't book this hostel if you intend on arriving after 9pm. Other guests were locked out and we were told earlier to not let anybody in. It see...

The hostel is extremely run down. The door of my bedroom could not be shut properly. You can hear every step in the house which makes sleeping rather difficult.

Unser Aufenthalt im Hostal Bellavista war alles andere als angenehm. Unser Zimmer hatte keine Heizung, wir mussten mit Thermowäsche und 4 Decken schlafen. Die Badezimmer waren in einem schlechten Zustand und schmuddelig. Das Schloss der Haustüre sollte ausgetauscht werden, da es sich nur mit sehr viel Mühe und Geduld öffnen lies. Bei der Bezahlung wurde auf einen viel zu hohen Wechselkurs bestanden. So zahlten wir fast das Doppelte. Wir würden diese Unterkunft nicht weiterempfehlen.

Relación precio calidad realmente terrible. El hostal en mal estado, no dieron desayuno ni agua caliente, estaba sucio y el ambiente era hostil. Lo único bueno del personal fue Bárbara quien nos dió una respuesta y ayudó frente a los inconvenientes que tuvimos. No lo recomiendo y espero puedan mejorar o bajar sus tarifas acorde al servicio que ofrecen.

Bed was terrible, broken mattress almost impossible to sleep on. Bathrooms dirty and missing soap/hand towels. Old wooden house that creaks constantly, and you can hear a mouse cough from one side to the other. Staff were nice, but never around. Guests had to answer the door. Location midway between bus station and town is convenient for walking.

El dueño se desentendió de la reserva realizada con ustedes, me dijo que el problema era de el siteweb y no de el. Me tuve que buscar alojamiento y ya no quedaba nada en ningún lado por suerte una persona me ayudó pero el dueño del hostal cero aporte

Je hebt in dit hostel 2 soorten kamers: een zonder raam en een met raam. De kamers met raam zijn enorm koud door de tocht die door de ramen komt. Er is geen verwarming op de kamer maar het huis wordt volledig gestookt. De badkamers zijn zeer primitief. Het water is ijskoud óf zo heet dat je er niet onder kunt staan wat om de paar seconden wisselt. De verf bladert er van de muren en er zit zelfs een gat in de muur waar water dus ook naartoe stroomt. Naar onze mening het geld niet waard.

Stayed in hostels for many many years in five continents. This one unfortunately was the worst in term of cleanliness. And I’ve seen some stuff.

Kaputtes, altes Hostel mit dringendem Renovierungsbedarf - die Bilder stammen wohl aus vergangenen Zeiten! Rauchmelder piepste andauernd, Tür vom Privatzimmer hat sich nicht schließen lassen - beides wurde auf Anfrage behoben. Fenster haben sich nicht öffnen lassen, waren jedoch auch so undicht dass dies kaum nötig war. Das Zimmer war dadurch andauernd sehr kalt. Eine einzige funktionierende Steckdose im Zimmer. Good stay

You get what you pay for. Hot showers, decent cooking facilities, good WiFi and our late check in was accommodated with no issues. However, everything was tired and not very clean. We found it too hot with the gas fire on day and night, and no opening window in the room.

This is an interesting hostel. It does the job to get to Torres del Paine but wouldn’t return We had the private room and there were hairs in the bed and stains on the bedding Great water pressure and shower temperatures Rough around the edges but did the job The equipment rental was good We had a fairly positive experience with the staff however we were witness to other guests having a much less positive experience which wasn’t nice to see.

Host was super knowledgeable about the area specifically Torres Del Paine and happy to help or provide suggestions. Had a wonderful night sleep in the tent rooms in the back. Perfect value for the money.

We had to wait outside in cold for 30 mins or so for check-in as nobody was present at the property. Also with rentals, we had taken a pair of gloves and it got a natural wear tear while on trek, but we were asked to make a full payment for new gloves. This doesn’t seem fair given we are not being rented a new pair of gloves and then on damage we need to pay the full price of the gloves

Goed ontbijt en fijne mensen. Je kunt er ook allerlei dingen huren voor eventuele hikes. Qua properheid valt er winst te behalen door de vloerbedekking uit de kamers te halen. Dan is het beter schoon te maken. Het sanitair was wel schoon. Voor puerto natales is dit een low budget hostel en dat merk je aan alles van de inrichting. Maar de mensen die het runnen zijn echt super fijne mensen! Heel behulpzaam en vrolijk.

Very bad building with no heating inside the rooms, terrible bathrooms and filthy kitchen supplies. Friendly hosts, though.

Basic hostel with some of the nicest staff you could meet. They go out of their way to help you. It is very run down but alot of properties are like this in Puerto Natales. Breakfast is basic but fine. The place has character and is in a great location.

This place is perfect for the cost. Don't expect pristine and perfectly functioning, but instead expect to meet fellow travellers, chats around the breakfast table, friendly staff, well priced and clean camping gear rental, top advice for your trip to Torres del Paine, and a central location to the main town and bus stop. José also made our stay even better with his big energy, interesting chats, and funny quips.

Only a one night stay. Basic accommodation which was fine for a night .Staff are nice friendly and helpful.

Sehr schlechte Einrichtung, das Haus müsste dringend renoviert werden. Der Teppich Boden z.b. er ist teilweise kaputt. Das Zimmer hatte kein Fenster. Es ist the sehr hellhörig. Das Bad ist zusammengeschustert. Es gibt z.B. keine Bodenleisten. In der Küche kann keine Hygiene herrschen, da die Möbel alt sind. Im Aufenthaltsbereich ist eine Art Werkstatt. Excelente servicio por parte de Don Edmundo

It was nice to have a private room at a cheaper price than most other places. The included breakfast was a nice addition and did the job. Definitely not a place with atmosphere but that’s to be expected + one of the people running the place seemed constantly irritated at something or another.

Great place for before / after W Trek. Very warm I mean VERY warm thanks to the heaters. Hot showers, praise the lord. Simple rooms and kitchen but just what you need when you’re pre-making 5 lunches and stocking up for mega hikes. Cheap hiking gear to rent but looked a bit tired so would recommend hiring from town instead.

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The facilities on the other hand were very bad. An old house with small rooms, we had a water leak in our room leading to a wet backpack after one hour of rain during the day. The „garden“ is rather a collecting of trash and waste, not comfortable at all. The rooms and bathrooms are outdated, but the sheets were clean. Breakfast is included - they put out a little bit of bread, jam and yoghurt, which is okay. The place is really overpriced though.

We stayed here before and after our trip to Torres del Paine, it was perfect for that - 10 min walk to the bus station, they let us keep our stuff there, hot showers. Basic free breakfast at any time. Staff are friendly and helpful

An old house with the rooms as accommodations and 2 central small bathrooms. Furnishings are quite old. Owner is friendly and knowledgeable. Characteristic will appeal to some and not to others. Gritty and not "refined", well lived in, so choose if that's your style. Laundry for 5,000 is a nice feature. Equipment rentals as well.

Eines der besten Hostels in denen ich je war! Der Gastgeber ist der allerbeste! Er ist so freuich und hilfreich und hat uns sehr dabei unterstützt unsere Wanderung zu planen. Er kennt sich gut aus, kann alles Wichtige erklären und es gibt sogar einen Mietservice für Campingausrüstung. Die Preise für den verleih waren sehr fair und unter dem Durchschnitt. Immer wieder gerne!
