Family Glavinic

Had a very different experience to others that have stayed here. Maybe due to the host managing three jobs which was her excuse for many things that went wrong she no longer has the time to manage the place properly. Room was tiny for two female friends and we had nowhere to store our luggage. We were only left with a tiny amount of toilet paper which ran out very quickly. At 7am being told we couldn’t have any till 11am was not ideal being pregnant and having the world’s smallest bladder.

Está bien si no tienes otra opción... No nos gustó que no hubiera acceso a la cocina, solo una nevera en la habitación. Está bastante lejos del centro. La dueña es muy agradable y atenta. Nos pareció caro para lo que es: una habitación donde dormir, nada más. No hay zona común, solo la terraza, y tampoco cocina o comedor.

Se trata de uma casa familiar em que alugam os quartos. A dona é uma excelente pessoa e prestativa. A casa, porém, tem muito cheiro de mofo. O chuveiro não esquentou em 2 dos 3 dias que fiquei lá. A localização é em uma rua que fica em uma escada, cerca de 15 minutos de caminhada para old town e perto de pontos de ônibus e praia. Achei uma localização boa, considerando o preço. Se tiver alergia, cuidado. O check in foi com uma chave deixada embaixo do tapete e sem muitas informa...

Se agradece poder dejar las maletas antes y después de llegar. La ducha era mejorable y nuestra habitación no era como en la foto pero estaba bien. Hubiéramos agradecido conversación algo más fluida y más info en general de la ciudad pero en líneas generales bien !

Francesca (Franny), the owner, was very polite and hospitable. I loved my stay at the place. I was travelling solo, buy it's good for two people as well. The internet was poor. Other than that it was a perfect stay.

Soggiorno piacevole. Proprietaria gentile e disponibile. Posizione un po’ scomoda dalla città vecchia la quale è raggiungibile a piedi in una ventina di minuti. Bagno un po’ troppo piccolo ma terrazzo carino con stendino e presenza di mini frigo in stanza. Difficoltà a trovare parcheggio in quanto situato in una zona residenziale e molto popolata

I'd recommend it if you're looking for a cheap place to sleep and don't plan on spending much time at the hostel. The place matches its description, and you have everything you need. It's near bus stops, and it's quite easy to get to the city. Just be aware that there are many stairs to get to the hostel. The bathroom could be a little more private (the door is very thin). Apart from that, everything was great!

This hostel is just what I needed. It’s perfect for someone who is looking for a clean and quiet place to stay. Francesca is a sweetheart and did a fantastic job explaining how to get places and her home is very close to the old town. It’s a short 20 minute or so walk, but you can easily jump on the bus from her house. The a/c worked beautifully and the shower was clean and contained soap, shampoo, and conditioner. The room was spacious and had everything I needed. Thank you Family Gavinic!

Exactly what I needed after getting off a week on sail Croatia, good location and felt safe as a solo female. She went out of her way to get my room ready early and brought me tea and medicine as I had a horrible cough. Definitely would stay here again

Loved this space, very nice room and good little neighborhood. A bit far from the main old town but still walkable.

Everything as described, hassle-free stay, I recommend this place.

Hostel was beautifully decorated, very spacious, and clean. The owner has amazing recommendations and a great knowledge of the area and activities to do. Price is amazing especially considering when comparing with other solo travellers in the area that where paying the same amount for a 10 bed sharing room. Would 100% stay here again if I was to return to Croatia. Also very safe for young female solo travellers and is only a 5 min walk away from the beach and a cheap supermarket.

lovely little home stay. it was perfect for the one night. we were joining a sail trip the next day so this was perfect beforehand and affordable. a note for future travelers though - if u click the "map" option on the listing it will lead u to the middle of nowhere. we mapped our way there using hostel world and ended up walking 40 mins extra for no reason! make sure u just type in the address that is on the listing, dont follow the map on the listing.

La estadía en Dubrovnik fue fantástica, la habitación fue cómoda, perfecta para descansar. La host nos ayudó mucho con recomendaciones para conocer la ciudad. La ubicación es genial porque queda cerca a todo.

very comfortable bed in a lovely clean room. kettle and honesty box mini bar. quite a few steps to the property but doable. definitely recommend

Very nice place, very calm and clean!near old town and everything(supermarket, pizzeria, bus stop,bars,) The host Andrija was very kind and gave us lot of good recommendations. Très bien situé, à proximité de tous commerces (supérette, pizzeria, bar) la vieille est à seulement 20 minutes à pied. L’hôte Andrija est très sympathique très gentille et elle nous a donné des bon plans pour visiter

Really great stay, super close to the beach and a nice walk into old town along the coast. Room and everything I needed and hosts were super accommodating

lovely stay! mrs glavinic was very sympathetic and friendly, we thank you so much for the indications and the easter gift! the room was tidy, there was only some dirt close to the door but nothing to budge.

This is one of the best hostels that I have stayed in. The bedroom and bathroom was clean and there was even a mini fridge. The location is convenient as it is located a 5 min drive from old town. Would deffo stay here again.

My stay here was absolutely superb. Andrija welcomed me with kindness and hospitality. The room is in a great location, only 20 min walk to the old town. Everything was comfortable and quiet. I’d love to stay here again! Thank you Andrija for a wonderful stay!

Super cute place, great location! I asked the host if I could use her washer for my clothes, and instead she took them, washed them for me, and hung them to dry in the morning!! Great customer service and nice room! Very satisfied
