Humbhaha jungle yala nature eco resort

Las camas tienen "Bed bugs" y nos cobraron en booking y el decia que no, le tuvimos que pagar en efectivo.. otra vez...

The place looks very nice, however the room/hut had many problems. - The lights are (too) dimmed. There is not enough light. - The place was dirty, there were many insects and especially bedbugs. We found out about the bedbugs later (with that light we could not see them) and we had to throw away a part of our luggage and take many measures to make sure not to bring them into the house. It has cost us a lot of money! - The shower had very little water and the water was cold. - The owner was quite an arrogant guy! I would highly recommend to stay away from this place!

A lovely setting, animals and kind staff. My stay here was extremely disappointing. The room was infested with bed bugs, after just one night I ended up covered in hundreds of bites (over 300). Since then I’ve had to take antihistamines daily to deal with the inflammation, and it has ruined the rest of my trip. When I reached out to the owner, there was no apology or offer of compensation, which I found very unprofessional. I understand bed bugs can occur even in clean places, but the lack of responsibility and care is unacceptable. I would not want anyone else to go through this experience.
