ATTENTION : BED BUGS!!!!!

Pretty sure I got bed bugs here. Everything was broken, its a fine hostel, it does the job. But I would never stay here expecting a decent night. The bar bellow is loud.

Alors pour résumer la situation je suis arrivé à cet hôtel, je me suis pris une douche, je me suis mis au lit peut-être 10 minutes après m'avoir mis au lit, j'ai commencé à me gratter et avoir des plaques rouges partout sur le corps donc je suis allé à la réception, ils m'ont dit que ils ne pouvaient pas me rembourser que il fallait que je vais en pharmacie me faire examiner donc du coup je suis parti à une hôtel juste à côté, j'ai réussi à avoir une chambre il était Oh30 je n'ai pas toujours eu mon remboursement c'est une hôtel très sale, il y a une odeur de renfermé de cigarettes froides, franchement je vous la déconseille même pour passer 30 minutes dans cette chambre une fois rentrée chez moi, j'ai été obligé d'aller à la pharmacie et c'était des punaises de lit, il m'en donnait un traitement donc je vous la déconseille fortement n'allait jamais dans cet hôtel Je n'ai pas aimé la chambre, l'odeur insoutenable de cigarettes froides de renfermer et surtout le lit il y avait des punaises de lit à l'intérieur, je me suis démangé et j'ai resté 10 minutes et je suis parti de l'hôtel pour en retrouver une autre à Oh30 vraiment ce séjour a été une catastrophe pour moi je déconseille cet hôtel n'allait il mon promis un remboursement mais rien a été fait de puis et il me réponde plus au téléphone

🇬🇧 English There were bedbugs in the mattress! It was an unpleasant stay in every sense. Regarding the service, it leaves a lot to be desired, since at the reception there are some people who work there who tell you that it is possible to check in as soon as you arrive, or they allow some travelers to store their belongings from that moment, while other staff simply tell you that check-in is not until 3:00 p.m. After that, the treatment by the receptionists is terrible; the way they speak is not friendly at all, and they even snap their fingers at you. As for the room, I also did not have a good experience because there were bedbugs in my bed. I reported this situation to the reception and showed them a photo as proof, and they kept me waiting until a cleaning staff member checked the bed. They told me they could not take any other action except giving me a bed in another room. Each floor only has two showers and two toilets for women and men respectively, which are used by more than 10 people each, making it very difficult to even use such an essential area. For the price, it is clearly not recommended. --- 🇫🇷 Français Il y avait des punaises de lit dans le matelas ! Il a été un séjour désagréable à tous points de vue. En ce qui concerne le service, il laisse beaucoup à désirer, car à la réception, certaines personnes qui y travaillent vous disent qu’il est possible de faire le check-in dès votre arrivée, ou permettent à certains voyageurs de laisser leurs affaires à ce moment-là, tandis que d’autres vous disent simplement que le check-in est à 15h. Ensuite, le traitement de la part des réceptionnistes est déplorable ; leur manière de parler n’est pas du tout aimable et elles vont même jusqu’à vous claquer des doigts. En ce qui concerne la chambre, je n’ai pas non plus eu une bonne expérience, car il y avait des punaises de lit dans mon lit. J’ai signalé cette situation à la réception en montrant une photo comme preuve, et ils m’ont fait attendre jusqu’à ce qu’une personne du ménage vérifie le lit. Finalement, ils m’ont dit qu’ils ne pouvaient prendre aucune autre mesure que de me donner un lit dans une autre chambre. Chaque étage ne dispose que de deux douches et de deux toilettes pour les femmes et les hommes respectivement, utilisées par plus de 10 personnes chacune, ce qui rend très difficile l’utilisation d’un espace aussi essentiel. Pour le prix, ce n’est clairement pas recommandé. --- 🇪🇸 Español ¡Había chinches en el colchón! Fue una estancia desagradable en todos los sentidos. Respecto al servicio, deja mucho que desear, pues en la recepción, hay algunas personas que trabajan ahí y te dicen que es posible hacer el check-in desde que llegas o a algunos viajeros les dan la facilidad de guardar sus cosas desde ese momento y hay otras personas que simplemente te dicen que el check-in es hasta las 15h. Después, el trato con las recepcionistas es pésimo, tienen una forma de decir las cosas que no es para nada amable e incluso quieren andarte tronando los dedos. En cuanto a la habitación, tampoco tuve una buena experiencia porque en mi cama había chinches. Reporté esta situación a la recepción llevando la foto como prueba de ello y me tuvieron esperando hasta que una persona de limpieza checó la cama… Me dijeron que no podían tomar otra acción más que darme una cama en otra habitación. Cada piso solo cuenta con dos regaderas y dos WC para mujeres y hombres respectivamente que utilizan más de 10 personas cada uno, lo cual hace muy difícil incluso usar un área tan esencial como ésta. Por el costo, claramente no es recomendable.

I don’t really write reviews but i am so dissatisfied with this hostel. They don’t have hot shower , please don’t come in winter time…. I needed to take cold shower with 0degree in paris. There are also bed bugs, my face got bite twice. Facilities are old and need maintenance. The door lock of my dorm is broken

The only good thing is the location No option for a bottom bunk, so had to use an unsafe, rickety ladder for my top bunk. The shower did not work at all. On the first night they did not provide me with a pillow. Disgraceful! I strongly recommend finding somewhere else, as this is poor value for money. Genuinely, poor. On the bright side no bed bugs in my bed unlike some poor guests.

bathrooms were terrible. unclean and I saw bedbugs in the cubicle. The showers were so gross that I didn’t even have a shower after a 9 hour travel day from Rome. Absolute rip off. So disappointing. Luckily we only booked one night so we could check out and go to a better place

I found a cockroach larvae or bed bug during my stay. I also have a bug bite, and the door closed properly half the time. Otherwise, the staff was friendly and efficient, they had socials every night and were in a convenient location. But would not recommend to anyone, the room was so hot it interestingly smelt like sweat.

Well is an hostel you can expect like hostel offers, but in during my stay there, I booked an private room for feel a little bit more confortable but was the opposite, my shower was so small and also i dont have shampoo neither shower gel on the deposit, but thats could be tolerate because is an hostel, But definitely I could not deal with the fact that I found a Bed Bugs in my room, every day I wake up at the morning with an itch and I did not know why, I thought it was an allergic reaction to something I

Les punaises de lit, le fait de ne pas m'avoir donné un lavage gratuit (que le detergent) pour me débarrasser des punaises, et le changement de chambre avec d'autres punaises alors qu'on m'avait assuré le contraire. Endroit carrément à éviter.

I stayed one night and took a private room with double bed but unfortunately it wasn’t a double bed. They have joint 2 single bed to make it double. To charge my phone in the room there wasn’t plugged. And also there was bedbugs o my god them wasn’t let me sleep whole the night. But the stuff was not bad .

I stood at the St.Christopher’s Inn on April 19-20. What at first seemed like a nice stay turned into an absolute disaster. The shower curtains in the private bedroom with private bathroom had mold on it. There was no space to shower and worst of it all, THERE WERE BED BUGS. I woke up into the middle of the night vigorously scratching my entire body at 3am. I went downstairs to reception to ask if they’ve had a problem with bedbugs before and what I got was a snarky attitude. The French receptionist with dark black hair and bangs (not sure what her name is) was probably the rudest person I’ve ever encountered. She showed absolutely no care for the situation and told me that if they find bedbugs then they would have to check me out in the middle of the night and it was pouring rain outside. The neighborhood this hostel seems to be a pretty dangerous neighborhood so as you can imagine as a solo female traveler I had no intentions of being kicked to the curb but I didn’t know what else to do. I started hysterically crying when I went back upstairs to check out the bed only to find it was full of bedbugs. I went down and showed her the pictures and she showed no interested and told me that she couldn’t give me another room because of some ridiculous policy. I asked her if where else would I sleep and she rudely said “I don’t know” clearly not caring enough about it because it wasn’t her problem. She told me I’d have to wait until the next morning to talk to someone about it but I refused to continue to get bit by bedbugs for a room I paid so much money for in a sketchy neighborhood with poor cleanliness. I instead had no other choice but to stay awake from 3am on Easter Day (which I had plans to leave early and catch a train back to Belgium) to 8am washing all of my clothing items to get rid of any bedbug and bedbug eggs. While I was in the laundry room I saw dirty dishes and cockroaches. I was sick to my stomach from how dingy and dirty this place was.

J’ai reservé une chambre privée, Mais j'ai été choqué après 30min, quand j'ai remarqué que mon visage et mon corps avaient des taches rouges et des boutons, cela a rapidement commencé à se propager sur tout mon corps, je suis allé rapidement chez un dermatologue à proximité et il m'a dit que c'était à cause des punaises de lit, je suis retourné à la réception et leur ai demandé de changer de chambre mais ils se sont moqués de moi et puis j'ai réservé un autre hôtel et j'ai demandé à Booking d'annuler la réservation et de récupérer mon argent et je leur ai envoyé les photos et le certificat médical mais l'hôtel a refusé de me rendre mon argent, c'était une très mauvaise expérience, je ne le recommande pas du tout,

On my last night i found bed bugs that were filled with my blood, grossed me out, and now i need to worry about bringing them home. Also room cleaners dont knock on the door before entering, they just walk in, happen on both days i was there, and one of the times i was naked.

BLACK MOLD - The ceilings are VISIBLY oozing it, and the entire property reeks of it. Mold poses a serious health hazard, especially for anyone with allergies, asthma, or weakened immune systems. Staying here puts your well-being at significant risk. And they do not care. 2. BED BUGS - The sheets had blood stains, which we didn’t initially understand were a sign of BED BUGS. After leaving, we discovered nasty bites and had to spend a fortune on pest control to avoid bringing the infestation home!!! When I reported the issue, the hotel claimed I never complained during my stay—completely ignoring the fact that bed bug bites often don’t show up until after you leave. They also DISREGARDED my mention of the bloodstains and their LACK of basic protective measures, such as mattress encasements, which are a minimum standard everywhere. 3. HORRENDOUS SERVICE: After paying over $500 and complaining about the conditions, the hotel promised a partial refund. Instead, they refunded only $115—a fraction of what they committed to!!! Their responses were slow, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. Protect yourself body AND your mind, and stay far away from this place. It is unsafe, unhygienic, and poorly managed. 0 stars.

Location is great. Close to the train station. The facilities, bar and corridors are ok. Staff was friendly enough. The main problem was the bedbug infestation in the bed when we were going to sleep. I reported to reception and got new sheets, but another room will have been better. I don't think I will recommend it to someone because of this.

Yo digo que son muy desaseados con todo, tanto en los baños como en los propios dormitorios. Dure 3 noches y salí con un rasquiña como de chinches :(

I only stayed for one night and it was the first night of my travels (from Tuesday 12/11 to Wednesday 13/11). The day after I had red bites on my legs which I think are from bed-bug bites from the bed. I have contacted the hostel, but have not yet received a reply.

One of the worse hostel I ever been too. I found about 2-7 bed bugs on my bed and all over the floor. Beware of this place.

This was one of the worst hostels I ever been to. I found my whole room infested with bed bugs and bugs all over my bed and floor. I ended up leaving and ended up staying at another place but the bed bugs ended up coming with me and I had to throw my suitcase away and some of my other stuff away as well just so I wouldn’t bring those disgusting bugs with me. I would not recommend staying here. Stay safe yall.

TRAVELERS BEWARE This hostel was hands down the worst travel experience of my entire life. My bed was absolutely infested with bedbugs, and after my first night I awoke to over 70 separate bites all over me. Pulling back the mattress revealed a teeming mass of bedbugs. After reporting this issue to management, they lied to my face and attempted to gaslight me into thinking i was bit by mosquitos. No mosquito causes this extent of damage, not to mention i saw the bugs with my own eyes. Management is also falsely claiming they had a “professional” pest management company out to inspect the room. I would like to know how this “professional” did not find the large group of bugs that it took me all of 30 second to spot upon moving the mattress. Because of this obviously false claim, they denied me any compensation for my experience. I sincerely wish i had taken a photo of the bugs before leaving this room to combat their claims but i was understandably panicked and trying to leave the room. In addition to this, i believe they assigned another guest the same bed only a few hours after i reported the infestation to reception. This was only the tip of the iceberg, but if i describe any other issues this review will become the length of an essay. If this place was your only choice i would skip the trip.

The location is okay, convinent for an early morning train from or a late night train to Gare du Nord, and it is close to Montmarte, however the immediate area surrounding Gare du Nord felt a little unsafe and scary for me as a solo traveller. There are good transport links, but in general it is far away from lots of the sights of Paris. There is no common room, so it's not ideal for solo travellers. There were bed bugs in the bunk next to mine, but the bathrooms were always clean.

I got bitten by bed bugs, the shower was broken, the bathroom is so tiny you can’t even turn around inside it, the lift was broken and our key card to get into our room randomly stopped working. Honestly the only good thing about this place is its location to the train station, makes it good for a stop over - if you aren’t stopping over don’t bother.

Overall had a fine stay, but I believe I had bedbugs. I recommend checking the mattress carefully when you arrive!!! I stayed here one night, the day after I had over 100 bedbug bites (clustered or all in a line, which is very clearly bedbug bites) on my body, including a couple on my feet/toes, so had to have been from a time when my shoes were off and they were only on parts of my body exposed when wearing pajamas. Hostel replied with an email addressing my concerns and seemed to take it seriously, but said there were no bedbugs in the room. I don't see how I could have gotten bedbug bites of that number anywhere else as that was the only night I stayed somewhere alone, and the only place I was long enough for there to be that many bites. I stayed in a private room, the bathroom and shower were incredibly small, felt like I barely fit in the shower, but the room was a decent size. Mattress is thin but good enough. Was a very convenient location to Gare du Nord and to other metro stations. I felt safe in the area, but also sunset was so late that I wasn't coming back when it was super dark.

Fair warning my bed had bed bugs. The staff was accommodating and gave me a free wash, free breakfast, and upgraded me to a private room.

I recently stayed there for a week with 3 other women and it was both myself and my partner's first time in a hostel. I will say we were very surprised by how clean it was overall. I don't think we would've done the communal route, but was grateful there was a 4 bed private one available. This included your own shower, toilet, and bathroom space. It also came with a towel on each bed. No bed bugs! Win in my book!!! Security was on point. You can hear everything so keep that in mind.

I got bed bugs, it made the weekend trip and return home quite uncomfortable

There were bedbugs and I got bit like crazy

I stayed here one night (3/9/24) with my friend and the next day my entire body was covered in bed bug bites… if you’re staying here please check your bed. They also mixed up which bed I was assigned to during check in. When I went to the front desk to tell them someone was staying in my assigned bed I was told to take any empty bed, and then at 1 am I was woken up because I was in the wrong bed. The whole thing was a mess I wish I did not stay here.
