Frida Ka

Female receptionist was rude, eyerolling... few houers no water in whole bulding at all. Can not evan splash a toilet.

Really unsafe. When I stayed here a stranger came into my room and opened my bunk bed curtain, saw me and left the hostel. There was no keys and the front doors and room doors were unlocked the whole time meaning anyone could walk in. I checked out early of the hostel and messaged Frida Ka after this incident and they did not respond.

Loud noises in front of hostel all night. Rude staff. Overpriced food. Location OK.

Staff are very dismissive and unhelpful. On the first night two mice ran across the locker area and there were three cockroaches and ants in our room and beds. Our AirCon broke and the reception staff were not trying hard to help. The room has no ventilation and smells bad. You also have to pay for towels and the wifi is bad. Atleast is is a-bit clean and the actual beds are nice. No social area.

Location was ok for a short stay however it was very cold in the room, they keep AC at 16 C while outside there was 34 C, you could see the frost on the windows and even after asking several times to adjust the AC the staff was polite but ignorant. Also there were some ants in the room. Since the entrance is through the restaurant, you can feel the smell from the kitchen. No hostel atmosphere.

Betten sind sehr gut. Problem ist, dass die Klimaanlage auf 16 oder so gedreht wird und das nicht geändert werden kann. habe mit so vielen Jacken schlafen müssen und mich trotzdem erkältet. Dazu großes Problem mit dem Wasser. zwei mal stand ich in der Dusche und es kam kein Wasser mehr. Ist ein regelmäßiges problem

Die Unterkunft ist sehr einfach. Duschen/Wc sehr eng. Betten waren sehr gut und man hatte Privatsphäre. Die Klimaanlage war viel zu kalt eingestellt. Der Security in der Nacht schläft und man konnte neben ihm vorbei ohne dass er was bemerkt hat. Im Zimmer sind Kameras montiert, sowie auch im Gang wo sich Dusche und Bad befinden (Nirgends Privatsphäre). Personal war nett! Habe aber mit einem eine Zeit abgemacht für an den Flughafen und er ist nicht erschienen.

Déception, pour 17€ la nuit vous n’avez même pas de serviette, pas de savon dans les douches qui d’ailleurs sont super humides comme elles sont petites. L’entrée se fait par le restaurant donc vous sentez la nourriture à chaque passage. Camera dans la chambre donc aucune intimité et très dérangeant. Les lits par contre étaient confortables Je regrette mon choix de cette auberge

Really comfortable, clean and relaxed. Not super social but people were friendly. Be prepared for the steep spiral staircase!!

We stayed here for 3 nights, room was great with good aircon and spacious beds. we had a great view and clean. The staff were very dismissive and uninviting and we were told two separate variations of rules, Made us pay for towels. There’s no lift so have to carry all bags up a tiny spiral staircase which is very dangerous.

Frida Ka was awesome! The staff were extremely kind, welcoming and friendly. We accidentally overpaid and they were kind enough to find us after and give us the money back even though we would have never known. The rooms are kept exceptionally clean as well as the shower and bathroom area. Great value for such a good price!

This is a great cheap hostel if you want a quick layover before an expedition etc. There is no real social area so hard to meet people, but beds are comfy and staff are very nice. Added bonus is the really good laundry service across the road.

Bed were comfortable and spacious which i really appreciated. Location was good. Staff however was nice but not really social, i asked them for recommendation and i didn’t really get an answer. Also, there is no common area, just the rooms and bathroom so practically impossible to make friend really. as a solo traveler i didn’t appreciate it. If you are looking for comfy bed and good location this is for you, but if you are solo and want to meet people i wouldn’t recommend it

The staff was very friendly upon check in. The location is fabulous, you are close to everything. There was a power outage and the hostel quickly acquired a generator and got everything back up and running. I imagine it’s very hard to control based on the location so likely no fault to the hostel. But just a heads up-there were tiny ants in the bed and the biggest roaches I ever saw in the bathrooms. Again I think it’s just the price you pay for location because the hostel seemed clean other...

Beds were 10/10 showers were a bit unclean but nothing terrible main issue was anyone could easily just come in and go into rooms

Wurden von Janni und Marc herzlich begrüßt, die beiden sind super lieb und haben sich um uns und das Hostel gut gekümmert. Auch die Lage ist optimal zum Hafen und für Touren zu den Lagoonen. Man kann auch Touren direkt im Hostel buchen Würden wieder kommen!

The hostel has a great location! However there is no security with going in and out of the rooms! The showers would cut out every couple of minutes! One thing I did not like is there was camera in the actual dorm itself giving you no privacy whatsoever

Sehr sauber alles, es wird ständig geputzt. Super Lage direkt am Meer. Alles was man braucht in erreichbarer Fußnähe. WLAN funktioniert einwandfrei

Fab location right next to beach, bars and the bus drop off. No party but friendly vibes in dorms

Das Hostel ist im Großen und Ganzen echt gut und sauber. Leider etwas sehr kalt mit den Klimaanlagen im Zimmer. Wir hatten das Gefühl, dass einige vom Personal nicht ganz so einen Plan hatten und haben uns immer wieder falsche Informationen gegeben.

Very cheap and good location. Bedding is never changed, even if you stay for a week and you have to pay to use a towel. There is nowhere you can eat or socialise at the hostel which is a shame, especially when the weather is bad. No tours or events put on by the hostel. Lots of ants in the room.

Super clean and really well located the staff is also very kind. I love spending one night there and there is laundry service just in front of the hosted it’s so practical !
