Salcay Hotel

Se malogró la chapa de mi cuarto y no había nadie en recepción para ayudar. Casi pierdo mi tour. Justo era para sacar mi abrigo y no enfermarme en pleno salar.

Boîte de nuit en dessous de l’immeuble, impossible de dormir, déchets sous les lits, personnel qui a essayé de nous arnaquer et certaines portes de chambres ne fermaient pas.

Do not stay here - we turned up and they had no reservation for us. The staff then tried to charge us nearly double and then in the end told us we need to find somewhere else to stay and we left. Wouldn’t have wanted to stay there after the experience anyway.

ME ROBARON. Llegamos y no había nadie en recepción nadie nos atendía. Alguien (no era del hotel) nos dio una llave que no servía porque la puerta no cerraba con llave. Cuando volvimos de cenar la puerta de mi habitación estaba abierta y la luz encendida. Un señor borracho me había robado el móvil.

Did not have a room available for us when we arrived, they tried to then change their mind and gave one of us a dirty room and the other one a room that doesn't lock and a bathroom with no light or toilet roll. Also FREEZING in the rooms. Do not recommend unless you literally want a bed for the night. I tried to get a refund with Hostel world for the deposit but they have not helped.

No atmosphere. Is advertised as breakfast included but is not. Reception lady said there was no space for us when we arrived then somehow acted bothered by the fact we had a booking and suddenly space appeared ? Not many other options in Uyuni but this was just not an enjoyable stay

Reservé este hotel porque decía que se podía pagar con tarjeta y tenía desayuno incluido pero al llegar me dijeron que no se podía pagar con tarjeta y por la mañana cuando pregunté por el desayuno me dijeron que no había y solo me devolvieron 10 bolivianos y eso que había preguntado con anticipación por el desayuno. No lo recomiendo

Pieza en malas condiciones, colchón horriblemente incómodo, nos cambiamos 3 veces de pieza, el ambiente es fome

schlimmste hostel in dem wir jemals waren. wir haben schon sehr niedrige Ansprüche aber die wurden hier grandios unterboten. -nur ein kopfkissen für 2 Personen, welches dann auch noch fleckig und voller haare war. -Badezimmerboden war nass, weil ein rohr ein leck hatte. -Früstück für 8 uhr angekündigt so gegen 9 lag dann ein bisschen hartes Brot auf dem Tisch. -Schon beim check-in super unfreundlich.

Decent hostel

Für eine Nacht wirklich gut, auch nah zum Bahnhof. Am Ende wurde mir extra zu wenig Rückgeld gegeben

Only stayed for a night but this hostel (more like hotel) did the job. No breakfast in the morning but personnel reimbursed me for it

Very old almost empty facility that does bot feel like a hostel, rooms are poorly designed and not very clean. No kitchen or common area available

Good value for money in Uyuni before trips. Nice staff.

Bij de boeking word er aangegven dat er ontbijt is. Bij aankomst blijkt dat niet zo te zijn. Er is een keuken maar die is in verbouwing dus daar kon geen gebruik van gemaakt worden.

Buena ubicación,cerca de todo. Hace demasiado frío en la habitación que no tienen calefacción. El personal a veces no es tan amable,pero tiene buena relación precio-calidad

Nos dieron una habitación en la terraza, las camas con colchones todos hundidos. No lo recomiendo

Good price quality. No social life in hostel but it’s good for what you get. Only 11€ per night for a 2 bed room.

Dirty place, probably the worst hotel room I have ever been in. Walls sheets, bathroom, everything was dirty. Super cold too. I feel like the 9,7 rating on jostelworld is fake, if you skim through there are mostly very bad 2-4 star ratings… Avoid this place!

Very cold room and there was no lock on the room. They didn’t even have a lock for your stuff.
