Cecilia Hotel Cairo

The place is great and the staff were awesome, the only thing is that there's no heating in the rooms and it was very cold so I got sick and I has to shorten my holidays to go back home and get well. When I asked about heating no one seemed to care! I recommend it if you go in summer.

Ottima posizione per raggiungere i principali siti e le maggiori attrazioni. Abbiamo allogiato nella camera con bagno privato, camera ampia e abbastanza comoda, bagno... da rivedere ASSOLUTAMENTE! Ottima la terrazza per una bevuta in pieno relax, personale moto attento e premuroso. Nel complesso, buon compromesso per visitare la capitale d'Egitto.

Schönes Hostel in Altbau an super Lage am südlichen Ende von Downtown. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und authentisch. Gute Atmosphäre, wunderschöne Dachterrasse, tolles Frühstück. Das Hostel befindet sich im 6. Stock, es gibt jedoch auch einige Zimmer im 2. Stock, welche etwas abgelegen und dunkel sind. Ich konnte nach der 1. Nacht in den 6. Stock wechseln und hatte dann ein Zimmer mit einem tollen eigenen Balkon mit Sicht über die Dächer Kairos.

The best asset of Cecilia is the amazing staff - all of them really made their best to make us feel at home! The location is very good, 5 min walk to Sadat metro station and the Egyptian Museum, lots of convenience stores, cafés and restaurants. There's a cool terrace to hang out on after visiting the super busy Cairo. Will be back again, thank you so much Hotel Cecilia!

For the price, there is no beating it. The approach from the street could freak an unseasoned traveler out, but once inside, the place is a gem and all the staff are the most wonderful, welcoming and helpful people imaginable.

We had a wonderfull stay in Cecilia. The staff was always very welcoming and helpful. The rooftop terras gives you a nice rest from the busy trafic in the city.

I would stay again. The staff is very nice and the rooftop is very nice. WiFi could be better though

Forget about the wifi, it's not working, so let's go out and play (in a good way). Very old French building. Not fancy stuff. Don't expect a 5-star hotel facility and be realistic. Everything is working or the staff will help you as best as they can. Egypt is not the most advanced country in the world. On average, a man earns around 200 dollars a month, so take that into consideration, and be happy. Staff very friendly and will arrange everything upon request. Be firm about your budget.
