BEWARE! Since there’s nothing in the area + drivers in the area don’t come there, they charge ridiculous pricing for motorbike (200k/day, usu 150) to food (160k/dinner, 80k usu) to transportation (500k to the airport is truly egregious). Sand and bugs in the bed. NO CURTAINS! Also the bathroom is located far from the beds so it’s horrible when raining. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Our experience was cut short because after one night of staying there, we noticed the pattern of bed bugs on our legs. Which is a shame because we enjoyed the company of other guests staying and the staff. There were no other rooms available for us to move to (apart from a tent, which we weren’t keen on as we had bites all over our legs) so we were asked to pay full price for our one night stay as we left to travel to another hotel. We have since had to have all our clothes laundered, the manager of life’s a beach was not forthcoming in his offer to pay for anything like that. He just said he thought it was sand flies and that he can’t see anything in the mattress. When we initially mentioned it we were met with firm denial at the existence of bed bugs, even though the manager told us on the first night that someone has complained about bed bugs in the past. We noticed the relationship shifted from very friendly, to one where we weren’t given any proactive help or kindness, and felt they wanted us gone asap. I couldn’t recommend this accommodation in good faith to anyone.

Life's A Beach liegt direkt am Meer außerhalb von Quy Nhon, mit einem privaten Strand, weiten Wasserblicken und einer Umgebung, die eher für langsame Tage an der Küste als für Stadtwanderungen geeignet ist. Einige Zimmer, Zelte und Bungalows blicken auf das Wasser und die Bar ist Teil der Auswahl. Abende können sehr gesellig sein. Die meisten Abende gibt es ein Familienessen, sowie Spiele und andere organisierte Aktivitäten, und eine Gitarre steht zur Verfügung. Die Stimmung ist entspannt und man kann sich leicht einlassen, aber man kann sich auch etwas für sich selbst freuen. Einige Räume können heiß werden, besonders wenn es keine Klimaanlage gibt, und das Essen und Trinken vor Ort kann teuer sein. Der Transport ist nützlich, weil das Grundstück weit von der Stadt entfernt ist und einige Gemeinschaftsbereiche an einigen Stellen abgenutzt zu sein scheinen.
