BEWARE! Since there’s nothing in the area + drivers in the area don’t come there, they charge ridiculous pricing for motorbike (200k/day, usu 150) to food (160k/dinner, 80k usu) to transportation (500k to the airport is truly egregious). Sand and bugs in the bed. NO CURTAINS! Also the bathroom is located far from the beds so it’s horrible when raining. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Our experience was cut short because after one night of staying there, we noticed the pattern of bed bugs on our legs. Which is a shame because we enjoyed the company of other guests staying and the staff. There were no other rooms available for us to move to (apart from a tent, which we weren’t keen on as we had bites all over our legs) so we were asked to pay full price for our one night stay as we left to travel to another hotel. We have since had to have all our clothes laundered, the manager of life’s a beach was not forthcoming in his offer to pay for anything like that. He just said he thought it was sand flies and that he can’t see anything in the mattress. When we initially mentioned it we were met with firm denial at the existence of bed bugs, even though the manager told us on the first night that someone has complained about bed bugs in the past. We noticed the relationship shifted from very friendly, to one where we weren’t given any proactive help or kindness, and felt they wanted us gone asap. I couldn’t recommend this accommodation in good faith to anyone.

Life's A Beach ligt direct aan zee buiten Quy Nhon, met een privé strand, breed water uitzicht, en een setting die meer past aan de rustige dagen aan de kust dan de stad zwerven. Sommige kamers, tenten en bungalows kijken uit op het water, en de bar is een onderdeel van de trek. Avonden kunnen heel sociaal zijn. De meeste avonden wordt er gezinsdiner gegeten, daarnaast worden er spelletjes en andere georganiseerde activiteiten gehouden, en er is een gitaar beschikbaar. De sfeer is ontspannen en gemakkelijk te verbinden, maar er is ook ruimte om voor jezelf te blijven. Een paar ruimtes kunnen warm worden, vooral waar geen airconditioning is, en het eten en drinken op het terrein kan duur lijken. Het vervoer is nuttig omdat het pand ver van de stad ligt en sommige gedeelde ruimtes op sommige plaatsen versleten lijken.
