Lovely place with basic amenities. Really kind staff and good location. Only negative is that there were bugs on the bed (possibly bed bugs?)

Très bon séjour a 3little Birds ! L'emplacement est idéal. À quelques minutes du centre et des zones touristiques. Différents restaurants locaux se trouvent dans la même rue. De même que plusieurs petits supermarchés. L'auberge est idéal pour être au calme. Elle est très bien équipée et cela fait toujours plaisir de retrouver une cuisine fonctionnelle pour se cuisiner quelques plats. Encore plus lorsque ces zones sont propres et nettoyées régulièrement. BEDBUGS ! I stayed there 2 nights, I had to cancel my last night cause I was the buffet of bedbugs. so many I could see them and kill them on my bedsheets, couldn't sleep for 2 nights. the staff took is seriously tho but the place would need to shut down for a few weeks in order to treat the place, unfortunately I saw it's still possible to book nights on the dorms (both are infested). the volunteers were awesome and the owner as well

Had a nice time here but heard there are better hostels around. There is not much going on here at all if you like that. You have full use of the kitchen which is great. Other than that, you get what you pay for. No curtains on the beds is a bummer. The owner was rarely around, the Brazilian volunteer helped me out most with anything I needed and she arrived only the day after me. She was fantastic. I did see the girls in the other dorm downstairs had bed bugs even after an apparent fumigation.

A great location, extremely affordable, and obviously many travelers have really enjoyed their stay- but unfortunately multiple people were bitten by bedbugs while I was there :( I wish them all the best in sorting it out.

the hostel was nice in a lot of ways but I unfortunately found a bedbug on my things while I was there. another guest in another dorm was bitten many times during the night (feb 17). the issue has been around since at least mid-february and i found a live bedbug in the upstairs dorm on Feb 18. be mindful of this if you choose to stay here.

Die kostenlosen Fahrräder machen das Three Little Birds Home besonders nützlich für Melaka: Jonker Street, Restaurants, Cafés, das Flussgebiet und die wichtigsten Sehenswürdigkeiten sind bereits zu Fuß erreichbar, und die Fahrräder bieten eine einfache Möglichkeit, weiter durch die Stadt zu wandern. Sie sind kostenlos, wenige sind aber vielleicht alt oder nicht mehr geeignet, daher lohnt es sich, zu prüfen, welche vor dem Ausflug nutzbar sind. Das Hostel hat eher ein entspanntes, gemütliches Gefühl als ein poliertes Hotel. Sharom und die Freiwilligen können warmherzig und praktisch sein, mit kleinen hilfreichen Aktionen wie Kaffee, Tee, Wasser, Snacks, örtlichen Trinkgeldern, gemeinsamen Ausflügen zu Nachtmärkten oder Bars und gelegentlicher Hilfe beim Transport. Es ist für Budgetreisende geeignet, die einen ruhigen Standort in der Nähe des Zentrums mit etwas gesellschaftlichem Leben, nicht ein lautes Partyhostel wollen. Die Einrichtungen sind einfach: eine gemeinsame Küche, Innen- und Außenräume, ein kleiner Garten oder eine asphaltierte Fläche, Schließfächer, Wäscheleinen und die kostenpflichtige Verwendung der Waschmaschine. Einige Betten und Zimmer sind komfortabel und sauber, aber das Gebäude ist älter und uneben; Badezimmer, Kühlung, Bettwäsche, Privatsphäre und Wartung können je nach Zimmer sehr unterschiedlich sein.

- Badzimmer können klein, alt, feucht oder unbeholfen sein, mit gelegentlich niedrigem Wasserdruck, Gerüchen oder Reinheitsproblemen.
- In Schlafzimmern gibt es möglicherweise keine Vorhänge, und in manchen Zimmern gibt es eine Bodenmatratze oder einfache Bettwäsche.
- Klimaanlage und Kühlung können inkonsistent sein; überprüfen Sie die Klimatisierung des Frauenwohnheims, bevor Sie dort schlafen, da ein chemischer Geruch 2025 ein ernstes Sicherheitsproblem darstellt.
- Bettwanzen waren im Jahr 2024 und 2025 ein Problem, also überprüfen Sie die aktuellen Bedingungen direkt vor der Buchung.
- Der späte Check-in und die Ankunftsbehandlung waren schon mal schlecht; bestätigen Sie den Zeitpunkt, wenn Sie außerhalb der normalen Arbeitszeiten ankommen.
- Es kann Katzen vorhanden sein, was bei Allergien wichtig ist.
