   Dirty. Keys cards broke several times on multiple doors. Got locked out my room in middle of night to use bathroom. No one to help. Also got locked out entire hostel. Several times cards for bathrooms did not work. This is frankly dangerous especially if trying to get in late at night

   Horrible property to stay in. FOH staff were not helpful. The low price point means that this is a popular choice for vagrants - when I walked in one was passed out on the floor below me. The bathrooms were disgusting as well, reeking of urine.

   Our room was a combination of weed smokers and near death old men who creeped on us as we slept. Not once did I feel comfortable in this space, from the moment of entry to finding dark stains on all bedding (compulsory and additional cost) to coming back from a day out to find a man sleeping in my bed because reception had told them it was available (it had my headphones and charger on it and the bed was fully made). Reception was not available to assist nor to support. 0/10. Location great.

   Nothing Total FRAUD. I arrived with a confirmed and fully paid reservation ($550 USD), and the hotel refused to honor it. They didn't provide a room nor a refund. They literally stole my money and left me stranded. This place is dishonest and unreliable. Do not trust their availability—they will take your money and leave you on the street. Avoid this nightmare at all costs!

Service minded people IS NOT WORKING HERE. Then, shady people where standing in the ”apartments” hallaway. You have also problem to go inside the hotels main door. Well. One day I came home late, the angry woman in the reception - who also lives in the room togheter with the ”tourists” she had stolen STOLEN my earrings and throw away my blankets and I had no bed to sleep in.    No hay ningún punto bueno a decir La chica de recepción es súper antipática. Mi amiga y yo llegamos para pedir una habitación para una noche que vimos por booking que estaba a 50€. La chica nos dice que eran 60€ a lo que nosotras le debatimos que, efectivamente, vimos que eran 50€. Ella nos dijo q eso solo era precio de booking y nosotras le preguntamos que si entonces lo reservábamos por ahí nos salia a ese precio, a lo que ella nos contestó que sí. En el tiempo que lo buscamos, esta chica en el ordenador canceló la opción de poder reservar por booking para de esta forma tener que pagar los 10€ de mas, en conclusión, un servicio terrible. Por otro lado la zona es una pesadilla, llena de gente peligrosa, a lo que mi amiga y yo pudimos confirmar desgraciadamente ya que un chico de la calle nos persiguió hasta el hotel y nos forcejeó empujando la puerta hasta conseguir entrar, tuvimos que llamar a la policía. Y para finalizar la limpieza era pésima, todo sucio, suelos, baños… TODO!! No recomiendo NADA este sitio

   I really enjoyed my stay. I was nearly put off by the bad reviews, but I am so happy with going ahead with the booking. Betzy and the other receptionist were amazing and the house guests were cool. Met some amazing people I got threatended to be killed cos im trans were not sure if it was a customer or a homeless person but it really made me worry about my stay. Betzy was fast to act and tried to do everything to find out who it was so she could remove him from the property. I never seen him again after this. There is no microwave or mini kitchen for residents to use so this would be a idea hopefully they sort sometime.

    Geruch, Ausstattung, zu wenig WCs. Wir hatten in der Nacht eine betrunkene, aggressive Person im Schlafsaal. Als wir den emergency contact des Hostel angerufen haben, konnte man uns nicht weiterhelfen außer mit dem Hinweis, das wir das Recht hätten, die Polizei zu rufen. Danke dafür! Das haben wir dan getan und den Rest der Nacht kaum ein Auge zu getan.

    This place is unsafe and I strongly advise against staying here. Staff entered our room while we were out, supposedly to clean, but as the photos show, the room was never cleaned. Even worse, I found a used needle, and my 2-year-old son almost put it in his mouth. This is unacceptable and extremely dangerous, especially for families with children. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

    I booked a female-only room, but was placed in a room where three men had stayed. I only realized this when they came in around 3 a.m.. The hostel told me to get a refund through Booking.com, but Booking.com just redirected me back. Very unprofessional and unsafe experience.

    The staff is really engaging and cooperative but merciless.     Location was great, also the night guardian was super nice and helpful The price was reasonable, but our stay was honestly a nightmare. On the first night, a drunk man who was staying in our shared room took over my friend’s bed. We tried to wake him up, but he reacted aggressively and refused to move. The next morning, we reported the situation to the reception — especially considering he had brought beers into the room, which is against hostel rules — but absolutely nothing was done. We had to continue sharing the room with this charming drunk man, who stank of alcohol, for the rest of our stay. To make things worse, the women’s bathroom was without electricity for a day and a half. This place is absolutely not safe if you're a solo female traveler. We only stayed because we were a group and felt safer together. Had we been alone, we would have definitely left.

    DO NOT STAY HERE. This property is not worth that cheap price. The staff is rude and tried to charge me extra for linens thinking I wouldn’t notice. The bathrooms on the first floor are absolutely disgusting. We also found someone sleeping in one of the stalls in the morning we were leaving. The location is not close to the city, either. Other reviews are accurate in the amount of hard drug use and sketchy characters around and in the property. I know it is expensive, but just stay elsewhere.

I would never recommend this hostel to anybody, and if it were a possibility to have my money back I would reclaim it because was the worst and terrifying experience in my life.

    Nothing was good except for the location, at the heart of Kreuzberg. People would try every day to get into our private room, apparently to clean it: we didn't feel safe leaving our valuables. The room and shower/toilets were dirty and/or smelly, the bed mattress was skinny and the pillows were so cheap that our necks hurt... The curtains did not obscure the light and the building was so noisy that we could barely sleep.

    Dirtiest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. The bathroom and showers must not have been cleaned in MONTHS. There were also very creepy men staying here. One of them helped me with my suitcase and then came into my group dorm and asked me in front of the others in the room to come to his room and have sex with him. Disgusting! We did not feel safe here. The neighborhood wasn’t very nice either. Would not recommend!!!

    Halls and reception had nice aesthetic, the furniture and decorations. Man at the reception told me im clever🥺 for doing his job and fighting for my bad. He also told us we could sleep at one bad so we are skinnyyy🥰 There are lot of homeless people and dealers around the building so be careful. Also there is no organization what so ever. In the room there were more people than beds and even a hostel employee slept in one. We had a problem bc one of our beds was taken away by the employee when we left the hostel to get dinner and we had to figure out where one of us should sleep. The employee basically took my bedding, put it on floor and replaced it with hers. They argued that it is her bed even though the bed was free when we first came there. They told us we could sleep in one bed together. Since we paid for two beds we wanted our money back for one. They told us no and that we should talk this out with people in our room. I also didn’t even had a pillow bc someone stole it. The key cards also work for every room so men visitors could get in the only women’s room if they tried. From 8 lockers only 5 were working so we couldn’t safely leave our stuff there. Moreover we were actually scared to shower there since it was moldy. I know this was a cheap option but honestly after this experience they should not ask for any money.

No, she and Evan were all awake, whoever was staying in the room, whether it was three or four people, they were all awake, and that boy was having sex with that girl all night on the bed, and those two girls in our room at night. entered and the guy kept having sex with the girl all night while her friend was sitting in the corridor all night, was that right, shouldn't you have told me about it first?

    arguably the worst place I've stayed, upon arrival they charged 4 euros for sheets which wasn't even mentioned and it was compulsory.     Good location and easy to check in We had a really bad experience the first night, the hotel personal entered twice to our private room while we were sleeping, thinking we had to check out when our stay was for four days long. They totally disrespected our privacy and when we explained we had a four day reservation they didn’t care and blamed it on us, saying we had to “solve this at reception”. After this, we never received no apology and also this affected our sleep the rest of the days as we were worried they might enter our room again without notice as they did the first night.

    Nothing Really terrible treatment here. The staff are extremely rude and impolite and will lie and cheat and steal from you. This is the first and only negative review I leave for a hotel. This one deserves 0 stars and for anyone to know and be weary - the low rating on booking is with very good reason. These people do not deserve your money or time - consider whom you invest in when you book a place. I had made a double booking due to a mistake on the website - I contacted booking to have this fixed, they said it shouldn't be a problem as it happened within seconds - we just needed to speak to staff at the property. After waiting for an hour for the ladies at reception to finish what they were doing (they said it would be 5 mins only and we were 5 people queuing for over an hour).. after that - the lady at reception said it would be no problem of course to cancel the other booking at no charge. So we left to enjoy our day, a long 1.5h after 3 PM when we went to check in. But there was a charge, as I saw at midnight on that same day. On the next day, we received loud knocks at 11:30 that we had overstretched our check-out time - despite having had to wait for 1.5h to check in on the day before, and them not having cancelled the booking as promised! They threatened us and made us pay 15 more euro for the 30 mins we had overstayed. Rude, obnoxious, really just an awful behaviour - which should not be tolerated, and for sure not supported. I didn't want to bother again and ruin my holiday further to speak with booking but will do so now as this is disgusting and shouldn't be endorsed.

The worst hostel I have ever stayed in: - was not informed I must change rooms. - my belongings and medications were moved without my consent. - the location of them was unknown to the staff member on shift. - took 30 minutes to find. - bathrooms were mouldy, covered is urine and pubic hair. - rooms had rubbish on floor and were not cleaned. - door to room was broken and left open. - found a girl screaming for help in the back stairs. - saw a man being inappropriate in the room

    La limpieza deja mucho que desear , me robaron cuando salí a un tour! ( mis pantuflas, toalla, eyemask) lo deje sobre mi cama. Cuando reclamé, en la recepción me contestó this is a hostel ! No me dio ninguna solución, si bien es cierto son cosas poco Valor pero un lugar sucio e inseguro no lo recomiendo.

    It’s great because you get to meet a lot of new people. The location is a nightmare. The Gorlitzer Park is very dangerous and the area itself is not safe either. I almost got robbed 5 meters away from the hostel entrance. Some Moroccan kids tried to snatch my gold chain but luckily I was able to defend myself.

    Took an hour to check in. I got locked in my room on 3rd floor. Door wouldn’t open. Had to yell at someone on the street to tell reception i was locked in there.

    Good location although close to Gorlitzer park which is pretty dodgy. We came home to our door being smashed in and someone sleeping in our room. The door was seriously broken and wouldn't shut or lock so we asked for another room which they didn't have. We had to wait 4 hours for someone to fix our door. At 8pm the door was still not fixed so we left our valuables at the reception so we could go out. This also meant we had to be back by 11pm to get our valuables because that's when reception shuts. So we didn't have much of a last night in Berlin. We had paid for 10 days and asked for a refund for the last day but they refused. We were on the fourth floor. The stairs were brutal. More like climbing 6 flights of stairs. We never came back to our room during the day because the walk up the stairs was too much. They have an elevator but they don't allow guests to use it. Carrying the luggage was really hard. Bad internet. Often didn't work on our level.

    It was a good location for moving around in Berlin but still not a safe one. Two days ago before my arrival a gang rape was reported in Görlitzer Park. There was also a person entering the property that was arrested for holding a gun. He was entering the hostel every time another person was using the entrance. Not safe Not safe

    Hello, Our stay in your hostel was fine, upto a certain point. We had a booking from 5 of august until the 9th in room 306, under the name Merlijn Mekkring Our first night was okay, but at 5 am we where awoken by loud music and yelling. Other guests in the room tried to ask him to turn it a bit down, but where met with a lot of aggression, and heavy threats. I allso tried to say something, but the second I tried he told me to “ shut the fuck up and lay down or he would take me the fuck outside”. Me and my girlfriend felt realy unsafe, because with every move made he got more angry. It felt like we werent alowed to get out of this scary situation. In the morning we packed our baggs as quietly as possible and tried not to wake him and we snuck out and went downstairs with more of the guests from the room to tell our story. But the guy did not believe us because he knew the guy and he thought he was realy nice, and went to go get him. We asked him to please not, we had just gotten out of this scary and unsafe space, and he wanted to bring us right back into it. My girlfriend immediately started shaking again and asked me to leave. I told the people behind the counter to check us out but they weren’t listening and laughing at eachother, and making jokes. so i put down the roomcards and we walked out. I payed for two more nights in the hostel than I got to sleep in there. We felt unsafe and unheard in your hostel and expect a refund of the two nights. this would come up to 66 euros.
