Nous avons passé trois jours Nous avons une forte suspicion de punaises de lit. Au troisième jour et dernier jour nous avions des boutons typiques de punaises de lit. La chambre paraissait pourtant très propre, et on nous a bien confirmé après notre départ qu’il n’y en avait pas, après inspection et nettoyage de la chambre.

Had some issues: Landry- 7kg free washing for groups of 4, but lost 2 items in 2 different washes and denied ever having them… Do not do laundry here. Our entire room of 12 had bed bugs. Staff did change our room and clean the sheets but still not great. Not much chill space that was safe from the rain (not good in rainy season). Everything is cash- from room payment to bar tab. Location isn’t incredible- around 10-15mins walk from town. Tuktuk = 30-50pesos per person.

Outpost Hostel - Coron läuft über seinen Rooftop-Pool und die Bar: Meerblick, Sunset-Energie, Musik, Spiele und ein Social Setup, das es leicht macht, vor oder nach einem Coron-Bootstag eine Crew zu finden. Der Ort wirkt jung, lebendig und aktivitätslastig, mit nächtlichen Events, Trivia, Karaoke-Style-Nächten und einem Rooftop, der ziemlich schnell von chilligem Pool-Hangout zum Party-Lab kippen kann. Das Hostel ist außerdem eng mit Coron-Trips verknüpft. Das Personal ist oft warm, hilfreich und persönlich, mit standout Details wie Geburtstagshilfe, Krankenhaus-Hilfe durch Security und Checkout-Cookies mit handgeschriebenen Notizen. Das ist nicht die ruhige, günstige, barfuß-minimalistische Version von Coron. Es ist sozial, organisiert, manchmal laut und oft teurer als Optionen in der Nähe. Wähle es für Rooftop-Momentum, schnelles Social Mixing und Tourlogistik; überleg zweimal, wenn Schlaf, niedrige Kosten, Zimmerprivatsphäre oder ein ruhiges Work-Setup die Mission sind.
Signale zum Prüfen
- Das Hostel liegt etwas außerhalb des zentralen Coron, meist etwa 10-20 Minuten zu Fuß oder eine kurze Tuktuk-Fahrt, und der Weg kann eine stark befahrene Straße mit wenig Gehweg umfassen.
- Lärm kann ein echtes Problem sein, besonders zuschlagende Flurtüren, spätes betrunkenes Rufen, laute Musik und Privatzimmer nahe Rooftop oder Dorm-Fluren.
- Value ist umstritten: Zimmer, Essen, Frühstück, Touren, Flughafentransfers, Scooter-Verleih, Schnorchel- oder Kajak-Add-ons, Handtücher und der ATM vor Ort können teuer wirken.
- Bezahlen kann umständlich sein. Bargeld kann für größere Beträge nötig sein, Kartenzahlung ist eventuell nicht zuverlässig, und der ATM vor Ort hat Beschwerden über Gebühren oder Kartenprobleme ausgelöst.
- WiFi kann auf Common Areas begrenzt oder in Zimmern schwach sein, daher ist das eine wackelige Wahl für Remote Work.
- Sauberkeit und Wartung sind uneinheitlich. Es gibt wiederholte Probleme rund um Schimmel, muffige Zimmer, Baddesign, fehlende Seife oder Shampoo, Toilettenpapierlücken, Wasserdruck, AC-Steuerung, heiße Zimmer und ein paar ernste Bettwanzenprobleme.
- Essen und Drinks von draußen können eingeschränkt sein, und es gibt möglicherweise keine Gemeinschaftsküche, was bei früher Abreise oder speziellen Ernährungsbedürfnissen frustrierend sein kann.
- Tour- und Transportlogistik ist gemischt: Viele Trips machen Spaß, aber es gibt auch Probleme mit Überbuchung, späten Abfahrten, unklaren Extrakosten, ausgelagerten Touren, Refund-Streitigkeiten und Timing bei Flughafentransfers.
