Toilets unclean, one floor had toilets with no sink to wash your hands after apparently not necessary Left freshly painted seats in bar area me and others sat and had paint all over The pool stinks

Nous avons passé trois jours Nous avons une forte suspicion de punaises de lit. Au troisième jour et dernier jour nous avions des boutons typiques de punaises de lit. La chambre paraissait pourtant très propre, et on nous a bien confirmé après notre départ qu’il n’y en avait pas, après inspection et nettoyage de la chambre.

Had some issues: Landry- 7kg free washing for groups of 4, but lost 2 items in 2 different washes and denied ever having them… Do not do laundry here. Our entire room of 12 had bed bugs. Staff did change our room and clean the sheets but still not great. Not much chill space that was safe from the rain (not good in rainy season). Everything is cash- from room payment to bar tab. Location isn’t incredible- around 10-15mins walk from town. Tuktuk = 30-50pesos per person.

Auberge à 15min à pied du centre de Coron. Super vue, personnel sympathique et chambres spatieuses. Par contre on a eu des punaises de lit dans les chambres …

Outpost Hostel - Coron gira intorno alla sua piscina e al bar sul rooftop: vista mare, energia da tramonto, musica, giochi e un setup sociale che rende facile trovare una crew prima o dopo una giornata in barca a Coron. Il posto tende giovane, vivace e pieno di attività, con eventi serali, trivia, notti stile karaoke e un rooftop che può passare da chill pool hangout a party lab abbastanza in fretta. L’ostello è anche strettamente legato ai trip di Coron. Il tour Super Ultimate in barca e la spedizione stile Castaway sono una parte grossa del soggiorno qui, e Tasha/Taisha è una guida ad alta energia. Tour, van, lavanderia, scooter rental, cibo, drink e ATM si possono gestire tutti in loco, quindi l’ostello sembra una base autosufficiente più che solo un letto. Camere e dorm possono essere puliti, spaziosi e comodi, con buona aria condizionata in alcuni setup, locker grandi o storage sotto il letto in certi casi, e parecchie docce nei momenti meglio gestiti. Lo staff è spesso caldo, disponibile e personale, con dettagli notevoli come aiuto per compleanni, supporto dall’addetto security per ospedale e cookie al checkout con note scritte a mano. Non è la versione quieta, economica e barefoot-minimalist di Coron. È sociale, organizzato, a volte rumoroso e spesso più caro delle opzioni vicine. Sceglilo per slancio rooftop, social mixing veloce e logistica tour; pensaci due volte se la missione è dormire, spendere poco, privacy in camera o un setup calmo per lavorare.
Segnali da controllare
- L’ostello sta un po’ fuori dal centro di Coron, di solito a circa 10-20 minuti a piedi o una breve corsa in tuktuk, e la camminata può includere una strada trafficata con poco marciapiede.
- Il rumore può essere un vero problema, soprattutto porte che sbattono nei corridoi, urla di ubriachi a tarda notte, musica alta e private vicino al rooftop o ai corridoi dei dorm.
- Il rapporto qualità-prezzo divide: camere, cibo, colazione, tour, transfer aeroportuali, scooter rental, extra per snorkel o kayak, asciugamani e ATM in loco possono sembrare costosi.
- Il pagamento può essere scomodo. Il contante può servire per spese importanti, il pagamento con carta può non essere affidabile e l’ATM in loco ha ricevuto lamentele per commissioni o problemi con le carte.
- Il Wi-Fi può essere limitato alle aree comuni o debole in camera, quindi è una scelta traballante per remote work.
- Pulizia e manutenzione sono discontinue. Ci sono problemi ripetuti con muffa, camere umide, design dei bagni, sapone o shampoo mancanti, vuoti di carta igienica, pressione dell’acqua, controllo dell’AC, camere calde e alcuni seri problemi di bedbug.
- Cibo e drink da fuori possono essere limitati, e potrebbe non esserci una cucina condivisa, cosa frustrante se parti presto o hai esigenze alimentari.
- La logistica di tour e trasporti è mista: molti trip sono divertenti, ma ci sono anche problemi con overbooking, partenze in ritardo, extra poco chiari, tour subappaltati, dispute sui refund e timing dei transfer aeroportuali.
