Bed bugs! Also the receptionist older guy gave me bed number 3 and when I came back in my bed already was another person also with given number 3, no towels provided and no sockets next to the bed

Kings Inn City Hostel is a very central Alkmaar base, close to the old town action and useful for quick trips around the centre, including the cheese market. The strongest upside is location: restaurants, sights, parking options, and the station area are all fairly easy to work around from here. The common area has a long table and games, so there is a bit of hangout space, plus basic shared food setup such as a fridge, microwave, and kettle. Breakfast can be good and the staff can be friendly and helpful, especially when room changes or simple fixes are possible. This is a rough, very basic pick rather than a cozy hostel with a reliable social pulse.
