Confirmed Hostelworld
WARNING! The hostel looked good at arrival. But after one night we unfortunately found bedbugs in our bunk bed. Dinko did a wonderful job trying to help us but the manager did nothing for us without fighting. We had to argue to get the help, she wanted us to sleep in the beds again after changing the mattress. After standing our ground and arguing they fixed us an apartment and paid for laundry of all our staff as well as new ferry tickets since we missed our planned ferry. Check your beds!!!!

Hostel Korcula is a tiny, central base inside Korcula old town, close to the ferry, bars, restaurants, beaches, and the main walking streets. It works best as a clean, practical island stop with easy access to everything rather than a full hostel hangout hub. The small size can make it easy to chat with whoever is around, especially in the dorms or kitchen, but the social energy depends heavily on the mix of the room. Slava, Dinko, Marcela, and the reception team are linked with warm check-ins, local tips, and help with luggage storage or arrival logistics. Rooms are generally clean and comfortable, with air conditioning in some rooms, lockers, towels, and simple kitchen access. The kitchen is compact and useful for basic meals, though it can feel tight fast. Bathrooms and privacy are the main tradeoff. Showers can be cramped, storage space in the shower area is limited, dorm doors may not lock individually, and bunks may not have curtains, lights, or power sockets for every bed.
