I noticed that this hotel has been rebranded. It was previously known as OYO D’Puncak. While they’ve done some minor renovations and changes, there is still a lot of room for improvement in several areas: 1. One very serious issue the management must address. The Chinese man who is often at the front desk used a spare key to open our room door without knocking. This happened at 11:30 AM, even though our checkout time was at 12 PM. He wanted to clean the room, but still, basic manners like knocking before entering should be observed. Thankfully, we were fully dressed and packing, but this kind of intrusion is completely unacceptable. 2. I appreciate that the resort is pet-friendly and even has its own cats roaming in the lobby. However, the cleanliness is severely lacking, the smell of cat feces was overwhelming and extremely off-putting. 3. They provide indoor slippers that must be worn even in the lobby area, but these slippers were dirty and smelled bad, as though they had never been sanitized after use. I regretted not bringing my own. 4. Although the sheets were clean, the bed itself was not. My partner and I had bedbug bites after our stay, which was very unpleasant. 5. The TV in the room was placed beside the bed and mounted too high up on the wall. It wasn’t positioned straight, making it quite uncomfortable to watch. While some guests might not mind, there are people who prefer to just relax in the room and watch TV, especially on rainy nights.
