Family Hostel is a small, family-run place in a village outside Lovina, better with a scooter than on foot. The strongest pull is the warm staff energy: help with dolphin trips, diving, transfers, scooter rental, cheap food, and relaxed nights around karaoke, pool, cards, music, and hangout areas. Rooftop hammocks are a real option here. They can make sunrise, sunset, and night breeze part of the experience, but they are basic outdoor sleeping under a tin roof, so light sleepers may prefer a dorm bed. Dorms tend to land better than private rooms, with comfortable beds, curtains on many beds, air con, hot showers, and clean shared areas. The garden, beanbags, small outdoor gym, table tennis, pool table, karaoke, and simple food make it social without feeling polished.
