Stayed here 2 days ago, woke up throughout the night itching. Next day saw red marks and realized the place was infested with bed bugs. On top of that, One of the showers was clogged with hair had to use the other. If you don’t like bed bugs or dealing with the aftermath after then don’t stay here

Vibe Analysis
Williams AZ Hostel is a small, practical Route 66 base in central Williams, close to restaurants, bars, and the town's old-road feel, with Grand Canyon day trips roughly an hour away. The place leans simple, warm, and low-fuss: private rooms, shared bathrooms, flexible or self check-in, and a homely setup that works best for budget travelers who want a clean bed, a kitchen, and a central stopover. The kitchen is one of the stronger parts here, with utensils, fridge space, coffee, tea, and sometimes extra food basics available. That changes the feel from bare-bones crash pad to something more useful for road-trippers and longer-budget travelers. Staff and remote communication can be friendly and helpful, and small touches like towels, slippers, heaters, seasonal decorations, and a 24-hour coffee bar add personality without making the hostel feel polished or fancy. This is not a sleek hotel-style stay. Rooms can be very small, storage is limited, bathrooms are shared, and sound travels through thin walls. Cleanliness is mixed: recent experiences can be tidy and comfortable, while other periods had dirty bathrooms, dusty rooms, smells, hair, clogged drains, and a poorly kept kitchen. Noise can also be real, from trains, bathroom doors, heating blowers, hallway lights, nearby rooms, or kitchen activity.
Signals to check
- Shared bathrooms are central to the setup and may feel too basic for hotel-minded travelers.
- Rooms can be tiny, with limited luggage space and little storage.
- Thin walls, trains, heating blowers, doors, and kitchen noise can affect sleep.
- Cleanliness has been inconsistent, especially in bathrooms, rooms, and the kitchen.
- Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, parking, hot water, and room temperature control may be uneven.
