Sow and Piglets Guesthouse has its own brewery downstairs, with a bar and restaurant space that gives the hostel more of a pub-with-rooms feel than a standard dorm stop. It works well as a Great Ocean Road base in Port Campbell, close to the beach and handy for a one- or two-night stop. The common areas are the main strength: a large lounge, couches, board games, foosball, guitar, TV, dart board, and a spacious shared kitchen with coffee and tea. The setup can feel cosy and social when the downstairs space is alive, and the kitchen is practical for cooking instead of eating out. Rooms are generally clean and modern, with several private and family rooms feeling roomy and comfortable. The hostel also has parking, and there is even a Tesla Supercharger bay next door in the carpark. The experience is uneven. The building and facilities can be genuinely nice, but service can be warm one day and harsh another, and the shared bathroom layout is awkward enough to matter.
