Really nice relaxed hostel- this hostel has excellent food at good prices and the drink deals are good too. The hostel didn't seem to busy and never filled up, had a dorm to ourselves, 3 of us. The showers and toilets were all really nice, only downside is that the showers have curtains rather than doors. The swimming pool is rather small but really warm and clean with nice sunbeds. The first room we checked into was empty but had bedbugs so we asked to change which they sorted straight away. But this didn't fase the worker it seemed as though it was normal to them. Overall stay was good but could have been better talking English staff when we wanted to book some activities.

Vibe Analysis
9Station Hostel & Bar Phu Quoc is a big, modern Phu Quoc base with a pool, cafe-bar space, and plenty of room to hang around without feeling trapped in the dorm. The strongest fit is for backpackers who want clean facilities, comfy beds, breakfast included, and an easy social setup that can still stay fairly chilled. The hostel has a wide common area, a small outdoor pool, a pool table, games, laundry access, and food and drinks on site. Dorms can be spacious, with large beds, curtains in many setups, lockers, and clean shared bathrooms. Private rooms can feel more hotel-like when the maintenance is on point. The social side is real but inconsistent. Night activities, quiz nights, karaoke, happy hour, live music, yoga, and tours can make it easy to meet people, especially around breakfast and after early evening. At other times the place can feel too big for its crowd, with a quieter remote-work vibe rather than full island chaos. Location is a practical win: close to restaurants, the main road, and Long Beach, while set back on a quieter side street. Staff can be a major plus, with reception often handling problems quickly and helping with local tips, tours, and everyday hostel logistics.
