Its great hostel for travellers. It has roof top view of Mehranghar. They have roof top cafe also. Must try aloo paratha and scramble eggs at breakfast. You can also enjoy candle light dinner here. Room are clean but I found bed bug***. The was very helpful with letting us know what was in the surrounding area. The staff were helpful.

Vibe Analysis
The rooftop is the main event here: a fort-facing cafe with Blue City views, food and drinks, board games nearby, and weekend or evening folk music when the timing lines up. It gives the place its best social energy, especially around sunset and night. The location is very central, close to Clock Tower, Toorji Ka Jhalra, Sardar Market, the fort, and the old-city lanes. Reception can be helpful with local tips, scooter contacts, timing advice, and early-arrival logistics, with Shahadat, Hitesh, Susheel, Shiva, Ankit, Deep, and cafe staff like Rahul Singh or Rawal Singh standing out in different experiences. The actual rooms are the gamble. Clean, comfortable dorms and private rooms do happen, but there is also a strong pattern of cramped spaces, dark private rooms, weak ventilation, dirty bathrooms, leaks, broken fixtures, small beds, bad smells, and AC or electrical problems. The rooftop cafe is open to outside visitors, so this can feel less like a sealed backpacker house and more like a central old-city building with a public restaurant above it. Pick this for location, the fort view, and a low-friction base in central Jodhpur. Be more cautious if you need quiet sleep, dependable hot water, polished bathrooms, strong private-room comfort, or a tight hostel-only social scene.
Signals to check
- Hot water may be limited by time of day, weak, or unavailable in some rooms.
- Ground-floor and street-facing rooms can be noisy from traffic, stairs, the rooftop, dogs, and late-night movement.
- Dorms and private rooms can be cramped, poorly ventilated, dark, or below the upkeep expected for the price.
- Cleanliness and bathroom maintenance are inconsistent, with recurring issues around leaks, smell, dirty fixtures, and broken taps or shower flow.
- The rooftop cafe is open to outside visitors, which can add noise and make the hostel feel less private.
- Card payment, listed tours, Wi-Fi in certain rooms, room service, elevator access, parking, and backup power may not be reliable.
- Vegetarian food handling and restaurant billing have had serious problems, so double-check orders and bills.
- The public rooftop access route may feel uncomfortable for solo female travelers because outside visitors can pass near dorm and common areas.
