Property looks really nice in the pictures and has a great view. However, when you look closer the dorms and bathrooms need to be better maintained and it was quite run down. The curtains are falling off the beds, dirty walls and I am pretty sure I got bed bugs. The AC didn't work well at all in the female dorm. Also, the showers are moldy with no places to hang things.

Vibe Analysis
Satori sits right on the sea and leans hard into the Mirissa beach-party rhythm. Boat parties, daily activities, and a very social mood are the main pattern, so this is a good fit if you want people around and do not mind a lively base. The upside is the setting: open water, coastline views, and that immediate beach-front feel. When it lands, it looks like the kind of place where you can stay a few nights, meet people fast, and use the hostel as the whole plan. The tradeoff is that the place can feel run down. Rooms, bathrooms, and shared spaces can be dirty, mouldy, buggy, and patchy on basic upkeep, with weak Wi-Fi and some broken bits. It sounds better for short, low-expectation stays than for anyone who wants polish or quiet.
