+ Worst hotel they cheated customer the hotel booking accept when you going one day before He said to customer overlord our hotel not come to our hotel you booking another hotel and booking money refund but the money can’t refund. last time I was called the police

- ich habe 10 Nächte gebucht gehabt und bin nach der ersten Nacht schon ausgecheckt weil es katastrophal war. ich habe bar bezahlt und habe mein Geld für die restlichen Nächte auch nicht zurück bekommen. Es war alles andere als sauber mein Bett Zeug wurde nicht gewechselt es war immer noch das vom Vorgänger drauf. Es war viel zu laut da die Tür nachts immer offen gelassen wurde und wir direkt an einer stark befahrenen Straße waren. Es hat gestunken und war viel zu laut an die Regeln der Nachtruhe hat sich niemand gehalten das Personal selbst hat nachts teilweise telefoniert und dabei gefühlt ins Handy geschrien. Nach der ersten Nacht hab ich den Mitarbeiter dort hingewiesen das ich aus diesen und einigen anderen Gründen frühzeitig aufschrecken will und gerne mein Geld zurück hätte weil das ja einfach eine Zumutung war vom Zustand der sanitären Einrichtung will ich auch gar nicht erst anfangen. Jedenfalls meinte der Herr der dort arbeitete er kann mir die restlichen Nächte nicht zurück erstatten unabhängig davon das diese Unterkunft so unfassbar überteuert ist für das was sie einem „bietet“ habe ich mich danach an booking gewendet. Booking konnte mir nach einer kurzen Mail bei der nicht auf mein Problem eingegangen wurde auch nicht helfen. Katastrophe. Nie wieder.
- Overbooked the accomodation the night of New Years Eve 2025. Arrived to the place and were only told the news once we went to check in. No prior warning for us to change plans or assistance to book other accomodation.

- They cancelled my confirmed booking last minute and I arrived to phuket with nowhere to stay.
- Beds were uncomfortable and right next to reception where people were shouting all night.

- The place is one big dormroom with i believe over hundred beds. Might be more its three levels of bunks.

- Die durchweg guten Bewertungen sind für mich nicht nachvollziehbar. Einen Hangover bekommt man dort sicherlich. Denn es fühlt sich wie Massentierhaltung an. Es ist quasi eine große Halle in der massenweise dreistöckige Betten stehen. Es gibt keine Privatsphäre. Die Gänge sind so eng, dass zwei Personen kaum einander vorbei laufen können. Gegen Geld gibt es Schließfächer, in die nichtmal ein Handgepäckstück reinpasst. Folglich gibt es keine Möglichkeit seine Sachen sicher unterzubringen. Weiterhin gibt es keine Einlass Beschränkungen oder Kontrollen. Sodass jeder einfach ins Hostel gehen kann. Sicherheit existiert praktisch nicht. Ich habe mich direkt nach einer anderen Unterkunft umgesehen.

- dorm are as prison, there is just 1 room with more than 50 beds. its like prison. even blanket is not provided, to take a blanket you need to pay 100 bhat

Worst hostel I've ever been to. When we arrived the hostel staff seemed stoned and wasn't really service oriented. The "dorm" is a joke. It's basically like a warehouse there are 50 beds in one room directly after the lobby, no safety at all. Also the beds were not cleaned and the showers didnt have water so it was impossible to use it. We had to cancel this and stay in another hostel. Can't recommend.
I recently stayed at this hostel and honestly, it was a really nice experience. It’s not just about the beds — there’s so much more to enjoy like drinks, games, a TV in the lobby, and the food was amazing. The whole trip felt very comfortable and enjoyable. What stood out the most was the staff — they were very kind and always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely recommend it.
I had a really pleasant stay at Hangover No. 1 Hostel in Patong. The place is very clean and well-maintained, which made my stay comfortable and relaxing. Didn’t quite know what I was getting myself in for with the room situation🤣 over the road there is a bar with pool table pool and plenty of seating available. Real place but I wouldn’t stay again personally
This was great experience with Hangover no.1 hostel. Great hospitality amazing staff. I recommend to have food from there own kitchen. You will love it. Must. Visit. Pool service wonderful.
Place is a scam, very misleading. Booked 4 bed as was the only option. Arrived & checked in took us through a curtain to an area full of 100 beds. Tried to ask about the room but nothing was very clear. Showers on the first night hardly worked. It offers ‘free breakfast’ on hostelWorld & the front desk, we asked in the morning and they just said no they don’t do that? And then he removed the sign from the desk. Toilets didn’t work either so had to use the hotels next door. Wouldn’t rec...

Lovely place, they provide free towels as well, beds are great too, beach is nearby and everything else feels smooth
