Lahore Backpackers
Bed bug reports

Confirmed Hostelworld
Hostel is really underwhelming, there is no hostel culture in Pakistan like there is in India. You are better off getting a cheap hotel somewhere. During the night I also had something biting me that looked a LOT like a bedbug. The location is not bad, there is plenty of restaurants near and not far from the amazing old city. They also charge an insane surplus for ac.

Vibe Analysis
Lahore Backpackers is a cheap, bare-bones base with a rooftop and a handy Lahore location near food, the old city, and sights such as Sacred Heart Cathedral, GPO, Lahore Museum, and Lahore Fort. It works best for backpackers who are comfortable with rough edges and want practical local help more than polished hostel facilities. Sajjad is a big part of the stay: he can be generous with local guidance, city tours, cultural context, train-ticket help, meals, tea, and directions. The tours can unlock Lahore history, VIP areas, the border ceremony, and even sufi dhamal trips, but the sales side can also feel pushy or overpriced. The social side is hit-or-miss. There can be a lively rooftop/common-area scene with other travelers, yet at quieter times the place can feel empty. Rooms are basic, sometimes clean and comfortable, sometimes hot, dusty, grubby, or poorly maintained.
