Ups and downs with this place. My partner had bed bugs in her pillow and when telling the staff thwy didnt seem to care. until we spoke to another staff member who finalled tried to sort it out 12 hours later. the kitchen is tiny for how many people it can host, and 2 of the 4 hobs were broken. with that the kitchen was closed the whole time so nothing you could buy either. all in all a bad experience

Vibe Analysis
Viajero Buenos Aires is the big, ready-made social option: a modern Viajero-style building with a bar, big common areas, two pools, and a calendar that can swing from walking tours and games to karaoke, tango, and nights out. It fits solo travelers or friend groups who want the social graph preloaded and do not mind paying for the convenience. The location is useful for San Telmo and central sightseeing, with bus and metro access and plenty within walking distance. It is not a quiet Palermo hideout, and the nearby blocks can feel less polished at night, so the location is more practical than romantic. The upside is real when the hostel is working: staff and volunteers often come across as friendly, and the bar, pool, and common-area setup makes it easy to meet people. Choose it for meeting people, activities, pool/bar chaos, and a central base. Do not choose it for quiet sleep, reliable cooking, spotless bathrooms, or a delicate nervous system.
