Bed bug reports

Possible Hostelworld
It was a pretty place and a good location, and the staff was friendly. I only stayed here two nights, the first night was good but the second night I woke up with quite a few bug bites on the back of my legs and up to my bum. They made my bed after the first night so idk if they washed the sheets with something else that had it because my friends were fine and they stayed in the same room and for the same duration of time. But always something to be aware of when traveling

Vibe Analysis
Surf coaching is the center of gravity here: daily sessions can include transport to the best break, small coach groups, personal tips, and video or photo analysis. It works especially well for beginners and surf-focused travelers who want their day structured around waves, food, and built-in social time. The hostel itself is clean, modern, and very social, with two pools, lounge space, a bar, food on site, and events most nights. Family-style dinners, karaoke, pub crawls, trivia, drinking games, and poolside hangouts make it easy to plug in without doing much social calculus. The mood leans surf camp plus party hostel, but there is still room for chilled afternoons by the pool. Dorms are usually comfortable, with good beds, curtains, air conditioning, and bathrooms that can be spacious and clean. The location is central for Canggu cafes, shops, bars, gyms, and beach access, though the beach may still be a walk or short ride depending on your pace. Food is a real plus here, especially the dinners and surf-package meals, though prices and added taxes can make the extras feel less chill than the vibe.
Signals to check
- This is a better fit for surfers and social travelers than for quiet sleepers or people skipping the surf program.
- Surf lessons and packages can feel expensive, and food, drinks, activities, or taxes may add more than expected.
- Noise can carry into rooms, especially around pool-facing dorms, party nights, loud doors, and early surf schedules.
- Dorm security may feel light: room doors may not lock, bag storage can be exposed, and valuables lockers may be small.
- Common areas may close around midnight, which can push late-night calls or noise into dorms.
