Unfortunately I had a run in with bed bugs at this place. I don't blame the owners, there's nothing they can do to prevent travels bringing them in and they did a fantastic job trying to deal with the pest. They even took me to a pharmacy to deal with the bites.

Apartment45 Hostel is a calm, clean Bangkok base with a strong work-and-rest setup: laptop-friendly common areas, plenty of seating, filtered water, tea or coffee, and a kitchen or hot plate for simple meals. The mood is more quiet house-share than party hostel, with a warm, lived-in feel when the staff dynamic is working well. The rooftop is one of its clearest wins, with city views and space to cool down at night or stretch in the morning. There are also indoor and outdoor chill areas, including a front patio, so the building has more breathing room than a basic bed-and-bath stop. Location skews peaceful rather than central. Lumphini Park, MRT access, 7-Eleven, cafes, restaurants, laundry, and useful neighborhood spots are usually within walking distance, though major tourist sights can still take a while to reach. Rooms and bathrooms are usually very clean, and the dorm bunks have useful privacy features like curtains, plugs, lamps, and sturdy capsule-style layouts. The social level varies: it can be easygoing and friendly, but it is not built around events or big backpacker chaos.
