Bed bug reports

Unfortunately I had a negative experience with the service here. I had a bed bug scare and the staff didn't show concern or offer help. Instead of taking action and checking the room (and I did find a bed bug on my bed), I was told they fumigate every so often and that there's no bugs. While that may or may not be true, the lack of care really leaves a lot to be desired. I wasn't even offered a refund and was told I was the one that may have brought them. I'm sure they'll try to deny this again once I post this but to put the final nail in the coffin, the man with glasses decided to judge my language preference once I decided to leave. Sir, you may want to do research on bilingual people and dominant languages before opening your mouth to a complete stranger. This is a topic many Latinos in English speaking countries have sensitivity to and struggle with. If this is the way you treat paying customers I suggest you consider a different profession. Hostels are meant to provide a welcoming environment to people from all nationalities and backgrounds, I'm sad to say this wasn't the case. I suggest folks reading this review to skip this place.
