Beds in the salon clearly infested with bedbugs that left lots of bites and inflammation. Located directly above a karaoke bar that was incredibly loud until 1am. Salon beds located in the common room area.

Vibe Analysis
Event Hostel is a very central Opole crash pad, close to the market square and useful for a short, active trip where the room is mostly for sleep. Check-in is code-based and can work late, with clear entry instructions when everything goes right. The setup is simple: small rooms, shared bathrooms, and basic kitchen access with items like a kettle, microwave, dishes, cutlery, and sometimes a fridge. EH2 access may add a bigger kitchen and a lounge area with an internet-connected projector, which gives the place a more useful base-camp feel than the tiny rooms alone. There are practical extras around the building too, including laundry, lockers or storage, vending machines, hair dryers, soap, an iron, and luggage storage, though availability can vary by room or floor. This is not a polished social hostel. It works best as cheap, central lodging for one night or a small handful of nights, especially when location and self check-in matter more than space, quiet, or on-site help. The atmosphere can feel closer to basic worker accommodation than a backpacker hangout.
Signals to check
- Rooms can be very small, with limited space for bags or clothes.
- Noise is a serious risk from the street, nearby nightlife, thin walls, and other rooms.
- There is no normal reception, and help may be hard to reach during problems.
- Cleanliness is inconsistent, with serious complaints about bathrooms, bedding, smells, and bugs.
- Shared bathrooms can feel too limited when rooms are full.
- Access codes and room assignments have caused problems for at least one arrival.
