Vibe Analysis
Room Hostel Piotrkowska 60 is a very central, low-cost base just off Piotrkowska Street in Łódź. It works best for a short, practical stop when location and price matter more than comfort, polish, or hostel scene energy. There is a shared kitchen area with coffee, tea, microwave access, and space to prepare food or sit for a bit. Some rooms are clean and simple, and beds can be comfortable, with under-bed storage or lockers in some setups. The setup is basic and inconsistent. Reception can be hard to reach, English may be limited, and finding the entrance through the courtyard can be confusing. The building has steep stairs and no lift for first-floor rooms. Bathrooms are a major weak spot: there may be very few toilets and showers for the number of rooms, and shower doors, drainage, mold, smell, lighting, and hot-water control can be problems. Noise also travels easily, especially at night near Piotrkowska or when people move around late.
Signals to check
- Best for a cheap central crash pad, not a social or party hostel.
- Reception and check-in can be unreliable, especially if phone contact is needed.
- Bathroom capacity and shower condition may be frustrating.
- Noise, thin doors, and cold rooms can be an issue.
- Cleanliness is inconsistent, including serious complaints about bedding, floors, bathrooms, and one bed bug incident.
