Maayong Hostel

After two nights we had red hives.. bed bugg bites. We highly suspect them in the middle cabin. It’s not really a matter of bad cleaning, since the room was ‘quite’ clean (there was also a cockroach in the bed). Just a matter of bad luck. We called the manager (french number) to warn her about the problem. She told us maybe it were jellyfish bites (we hadn’t even swimmed in the sea by then) and she reacted very defensive. We kindly asked her to think about a refund and a way to get rid of the animals, but she didn’t want to do any of that. Not even a discount. The way the manager reacted to this is the reason we are writing this review! We are not 100% sure, but since we left we hadn’t had any problems anymore. Unfortunately, I forgot to pay for the food and drinks since the staff told us to go and we went in a hurry. We are going to pay that amount online ofcourse
