We found many bugs flying around the room when we entered. After spending one night there, I woke up with over 70 bites. We were forced to conclude that there were bed bugs in the mattresses after inspecting them and the bites. Upon getting in contact with booking.com, the property manager berated us, accused us of lying, said it was impossible that there were bugs solely because that would be a “big problem”, and said our story “did not correspond to reality”. We had to find other accommodations and had to do over $150 worth of laundry to sanitize all our belongings. In additional to all of this, the rooms are on the 9th floor, and without a 10¢ coin, we were forced to walk up all 10 flights of stairs.
