   Nothing.. We are all disappointed ☹️ The room is dirty also the kitchen.. The whole building has lost hot water. You need to wait for the repairmen to arrive.. The staff is not friendly…Before you check out, they offer a free breakfast in exchange for a good review 😅..NEVER AGAIN! Im Sorry for my bad rate.

   The receptionist asked me how my travels were, I told him I'd been traveling for 15 hours, and he got me a free beer lol. 10/10 would recommend. I chose this hostel cause a friend of mine likes the A&O chains. It's my first time here. It's really nice, but I'm only here for the night. I would definitely stay longer if I could, but I'm not here to stay so it is what it is. The other ratings can give you more info for sure.

   A very bad experience I ever had as tour operator for my guest. Today on june 24th, 2025, I have a family of 4, had paid & booked in a&o Frankfurt ostend for a night. They've waiting for their room more than 2 hours after been told no available room. I called customer service, his answer they cannot help than hung up ! HUNG UP ! NO SORRY, NO EXPLANATION ! They booked them another room but have to paid 156% higher price, additional to what I have paid before !!! And NO BREAKFAST also !! What is their reason ? Explanation ? Responsiblity to their customer ? Compensation !? This is their stupid mistake that cost us high price !!! Sorry for my English. I just angry, frustated, confuse, how their very very bad service that cost us very expensive price ! What is their responsiblity !! I need your explanation & responsiblity to return the money to my customer. Very first time bad review to give to this hotel.. ZERO STAR !!

   Before booking the a&o Frankfurt Ostend my sister and I read a lot of terrible reviews about the place and decided to go anyway because we’re not fussy, it was the cheapest by far and we were only staying one night. Let me say right now I would rather have paid TRIPLE somewhere else. The reviews were not kidding. Worst hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Rude and incredibly unhelpful staff, unwelcoming atmosphere, no air conditioning so the whole place was like a furnace, having the window open all night to let coo

   I traveled with my family, and while the stay wasn't exactly what I was looking for, it was still a unique experience. It gave my kids an opportunity to see a different style of travel and accommodation than what we are used to. The location was convenient, with a tram stop and grocery store within walking distance, which made getting around and picking up essentials very easy. My only complaint was the lack of air conditioning. However, that was more my oversight than the property's fault, as I didn't carefully review the amenities before booking. When I asked for a fan, the staff provided one with a €20 refundable deposit, which was very helpful. The staff and volunteers were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay, and they even allowed me a late checkout until 2:00 PM for a minimal fee. I think this place is best suited for solo travelers or groups, but I would not recommend it for a relaxing family vacation.

   A typical situation where the photos and marketing sounds great, but the reality of it is very different. The location was convenient for us, as we had work close to the location, but though a hostel, I was expecting a bit more for the money paid. Cleanliness - as most reviews, below satisfactory. There was only one more capable staff member who helped properly throughout our stay, the rest - student jobs 😂 and that’s what you’ll get. Breakfast - we paid but no one actually checked, so I wonder how many unpack g customers took advantage of the breakfast buffet? Not that there was much choice of healthy food, but still. Room - we booked a 4-bed room, which we didn’t share with anyone - we had bunk beds but apparently it’s the guest who has to prep the bunkbed beds, whereas the twin beds were ready made -literally couldn’t understand the logic. I asked at the reception the first night, but no one could give an adequate answer. All in all…quite some money for not much. Suitable probably for 1-2 night stays, but wouldn’t recommend longer than MAX three nights.
