Boom Hostel Khao Sok

The rooms were nice, we checked in early and spent about 5 hours unpacked and in our beds until we found a BED BUG crawling across one of our beds. We alerted staff and they were nice enough to change the sheets but were telling us that it wasn’t them and that it must have come from outside or we had brought it in. They left and we checked under the mattress again and FOUND A SECOND ONE. We asked to switch rooms and they let us but didn’t not tell the other person staying in the room who was out at the time. When we told him later they did not let him switch rooms as well. Thankfully we did not see any other bugs in the second room, so fingers crossed we’re not infested. Watch out for the balcony room.

I had bed bugs in my bed, I saw 3 of them! when I showed staff they were concerned but felt like they already knew this and did nothing about the situation!
