BEDBUGS - BEWARE I’m sure the host will say something like “there isn’t proof” but we have the literal bed bug bites, saw the marks on the mattress, and the shed skin of them. Also, my leftovers disappeared from the fridge. Easy to assume one of the children who live on the property ate it, which, whatever. Roaches. Ancient fan, the room was criminally hot. I had a really bad time there. the host was waiting for me at 1AM and even drove me to buy food at night. But later, it was a nightmare. I couldn’t sleep at all because I was attacked by plenty of bed bugs. I killed at least three bugs on the bed, and there were blood spots. I told the hostess everything, and she was implying that I'd brought them from another hotel. But my flight was from Finland. DO NOT STAY HERE. We found bed bugs and there was a child running loose. There was also mouldy chicken on the side. When we alerted someone to the bed bugs, she swept their eggs onto our feet and accused us of bringing them in from the overnight train. This aggressive response proved that we were right to leave as the owners were clearly aware of the problem. Go to Popcorn Hostel nearby instead, excellent service and clean rooms.
