Hotel Posada Don Miguel

I absolutely hate people for rating this place so highly and resulting in me booking it. This place is terrible. Biggest problem: cockroaches. Tons are outside of the hotel and one was found in my belongings in my room (photo attached). The room is also filled with mosquitoes and staff had no insecticide on site to resolve the roach and mosquito issues. Secondly, the location is terrible. It is down a narrow, poorly lit and sketch alley that vehicles cannot access. It is a pain accessing here with luggage. Lastly, beds are solid as a rock and there can also be bed bugs. Do not book here. Edit: The hotel responded stating that they are oblivious to the cockroaches when one look outside can literally show the roaches everywhere in the night. Truly a delusional response at best.

Bedbugs all over the place

Rooms are very small, all of them have entrance from common balcony so you have no privacy and you can here all the noise from outside. Our first room was dirty - under the pillow were some small black bugs (probably not bed bugs). When we asked at the reception, they gave us immediately new room, which was clean.
